Ameriwood Headboard, Full/Queen

First, I am overall very happy with the product. I think it is overall a 4.5 star product, but I had to remove a star for the following reasons:

1. The item is not the color in the picture, it is a deep espresso color, close to black.

2. There were a few small scuffs that revealed the wood underneath.

3. The bolts to attach to my bed frame are not properly aligned.

For the first point, I am okay with the espresso color; not too picky this time around.

For the second point, I can fill in the scuffs/paint chips with a marker and it will look fine. I can't really see them from afar, only if I look up close.

For the third point, I'm going to try to hammer the end of the frame down to fit the bolt holes -it's only off by a 1/4 inch or so. This could also be my frame, not the headboard, so I don't put all the blame on the product.

Again, I think the overall value is very good. For close to $100, I am very happy.

Looks great and is very sturdy. I am actually using it for an air bed I bought for my guest room. My parents come to visit and my dad need to be able to sit up. He said it worked perfectly for him.

Fashion Street 4-Piece Embroidered Sheet Set

I needed the perfect color of gray sheet and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Everything was either too spendy, the wrong color or looked cheap. I came across these and wasn't 100% sure about them until I received them. They are a tad darker than the picture leads you to believe but they were much better quality than I expected. I say compared to what sheets sell for these days, they are worth the money!

Ok so you won't get fine stitching and some of the other little touches that you might find on expensive sheets, but for the price these are great. We have dogs and cats. After having a few sets of 50-80 dollar sheet sets ruined my a misplaced claw or pawing, it was time to find something less expensive so we could still allow our furry friends up on the bed, but not worry about going broke. I tried a number of sets at discount stores and found that they were either made of awful fabric or weren't big enough to actually cover a king sized bed, even though they were labelled as such. This was my first attempt at finding bargain sheets at Amazon. I hit the jackpot! Yes, it's try the stitching is less fine than on the nice sets, but the fabric is comfortable to sleep on and it fits our very deep mattress. I'd recommend these to anyone on a budget or anyone who goes through sheets quicker than most like we do.

I don't really have much to say expect for that I would highly recommend these sheets! I was looking some gray or black really soft sheets and these are it, I just ordered a second set so that I can always have another set ready to go when I need to change them out. The fitted sheet can accommodate a very large mattress (probably a mattress and a box spring) but I just have a mattress so its a little loose, and the sheet sheet fits great and is very soft! For the price I couldn't find anything of equal or even CLOSE to equal quality!

The first time I used these I was a bit concerned because after a couple of days there were a *lot* of loose bits of fiber pilled up in the bed between the top and bottom sheets. The sheets now have been washed several times and remain soft and comfortable and the pilling seems to have stopped. The color also seems to be holding true.

As other reviewers have noted, these are not 5-star, show palace sheets; rather, they are an excellent everyday choice for someone who wants to sleep comfortably without spending a fortune. I'd buy another set without hesitation.

I only have one pair of sheets for my king bed...they were $120. I bought these ones because they are so affordable and I liked the grey color. I LOVE these sheets. They are better than my expensive ones! These sheets are light and soft which is great for warm weather nights. My husband even commented on how much he likes them. The candles are not what I would call "dark" blue...more like a medium dark colonial blue than navy. Also, the color coating easily cracks at the base showing the white underneath when pushing them into the candlesticks. Certainly they don't look as dark as the pictures showed.

I purchased this bench for a spare bedroom. The legs were easy to attach. Height is a couple of inches less than a regular chair the fabric cover looks very yellowish so i upholstered it with my own modern fabric to match the decor which made this bench look a lot amazing. The price is very reasonable for this bench.

This product is so so. I liked the vibrant color and design when I saw it on the website. The actual product color is not as vibrant or fresh looking as shown on the picture. It has a gray/yellow background color with dull green and purple patterns. Overall, the piece looks kind of dull comparing to the picture. But it otherwise serves the basic function, and is easy to assemble. I don't think the price is worth it thought. I probably won't buy it again.

It is not fine furniture and the legs all had smudges or cracks, but okay for the price. I did not go through the hassle of getting new legs because you can't really see the problems unless you turn it over.

This bench is great value for the cost. It's simple to put together, had a bit of trouble finding the parts, they have them velcro-ed in the lining under the bench. I wasn't able to put one screw in, it didn't seem to line up with the holes but for what I'm using it for not a bit deal, still pretty awesome quality for the price. The balance is really well put together.

This is not a derogatory report against the seller. I believe the problem was in the packing, shipping & handling of the product. I will deal with the toll free number tomorrow to see if this can be resolved.

The product looks pretty in the picture. However, when it arrived, the mirror was badly broken. Both main supports for the bench were bent. The bench cushion appeared to have a flawed or gnarled thread on the side. A closer look revealed that it was actually a small hole in the fabric.

I love the way this product looks and it's made out of good quality parts, when it came in the mail (without any scratches or dents, perfect condition) I was very excited to get it put together. My biggest problem with this product is the lack of description on the site. It has no specifications for size, and is a little larger than my previous vanity. Which is nice, but now I have to plan around that instead of being informed when I purchased it. And it never said in the description you need a drill to put it together; it's still sitting in my living room unfinished because I don't have the proper tools. I should not say easy assembly if you need a power tool to put it together. Like I said, the product looks great, even half finished, the mirror is a little small for the size of the vanity but over all I cannot complain about the product itself.

Dream On Me Toddler Day Bed, Black

Don't waste your time buying a product from Dream On Me. We bought this bed when our two year old decided to start climbing out of her crib. It arrived quickly from Amazon. On opening the box and assembling it we discovered two major issues and a few minor ones. Issue one: the back side of the bed had a slat that was broken. Issue two: the drawer doesn't fit correctly -the other reviewers are not kidding when they say it sticks. It really, really sticks. The minor issue is the general fit and quality of all the parts--they don't.

Disappointing, but stuff like this happens. Most companies that sell this kind of furniture, such as Sauder, will send you a replacement part if you call them. I found a number in the assembly instructions and called it. It didn't work. It's not in service.

Now I was worried, but fourtunately the internet came through. On the Dream on Me website is a number. It works.

But...

When called you get a receptionist or an answering service, and transferred to voice mail. It happened twice over a week and my call was never returned.

Finally I get through to "Alissa" in customer service.

She told me that they're the manufacturer and that they don't deal with customers.

Stunning.

When questioned, "why do you have a toll free contact number if you don't deal with customers she seemed genuinely perplexed. She proceeded to tell me how I didn't get it. Basically, my expectation of having a manufacturer stand behind their brand new product was ridiculous. At that point she hung up on me.

I can't give negative stars so I'll give it a one star.

The drawers are so thin that it was not worth the extra money paid to have drawers. They are pretty useless.

Received this bed in February for my 20 month old daughter. She has used it for less than 2 months when one of the mattress supports bars broke. There was NO jumping on the bed or other person on bed other than my 30 pound child. The manufacturer ONLY offers a 30 defect warranty.. I guess I know why now.. The drawer is difficult to open/close and does not store very much.. Maybe an extra set of sheets or blankets. Nice little bed, my one year old loves it. Fit and finish were OK. The drawer underneath was a pain though, I had trouble attaching the back panel of the drawer. The two bottom pieces of the drawer were too wide and needed to have an eighth of an inch ripped off on the table saw. The mattress from the crib fit nicely and it is low enough that with the help of a pillow on the floor she can climb in and out.

It took my husband and my brother 1.5 hours to assemble this bed. They assembled all the furniture in my house, from bookshelves to TV stands, and this one took the longest. Not because it is complicated to assemble, but because the parts didn't always match up due to poor construction. "Dream On Me" could have made the parts align easier.

Three people were need to assemble this bed because the bed need 6 hands just so we can snap all the posts into place at the same time. The posts is what will make up the bottom support system of the bed to hold the mattress. There are a total of 6 posts that all needed to be aligned at the same time to assemble the sides of the bed.

There were also other pieces that didn't align as instructed, especially when it was time to assemble the bottom drawer. Despite all our efforts to fit all the pieces together, the bottom drawer still gets stuck when we open it more than halfway so I took off a star. We have resorted to lifting up the crib mattress just to access the drawer. We purchased the toddler bed with the Sealy Baby Ultra Rest Mattress

I suppose for $165 toddler bed, I expected a little much. But I did see this bed for sale on other websites as high as . So I just think Amazon has a really good deal. If I paid $250 for this bed, I'd be very upset at the difficult parts, especially when I can't even use the bottom drawer properly.

After everything is assembled the toddler bed does look nice and is very low to the ground. The bed rail is shorter than I expected, it covers barely 1/3 the length of the bed. I expected the bed rail to protect at least 2/3 part of the bed to prevent an accidental fall. That's what I was used to when I was a kid.

So now comes the REAL challenge .... making my daughter sleep in this toddler bed instead of her crib.

Canwood Boookcase

Just for a heads up to other consumers thinking about buying this product. This bookcase is NOT solid pine wood, it is primarily constructed of an engineered wood. There might be one or two little pieces made of actual wood, but the vast majority is the wood composite stuff. BUYER BEWARE

I just finished assembling 10 of these bookshelves for my new library. The shelves are a bit darker than the picture indicates; they are pretty dark, which I actually liked. The top of the bookcase once assembled is quite beautifully finished and looks great. Can't really beat the value here for the price. I'm sure you have shopped around and seen much higher prices on similar items. In actuality, this bookcase is mostly made of particle board. Only the top is real wood. The only real issue is that some of the shelves that go into the case are quite loose and I had one collapse on me. I had to load it with lighter books. The other shelves are ok; perhaps this was just a weird one.

Assembly: pretty easy and straightforward. After all these are just bookcases. There is the inherent problem of trying to screw things into particle board and having the wood flake that happened a couple of times. Most of the holes seem propertly drilled and line up properly. There are definitely some tricks on getting these assembled properly. Insert the lock cams with the gap that the screw goes in FACING the hole. That makes things much easier. The trickiest part is putting on the bottom, where you have to align quite a few holes and get it right. If the cams are in proper position to accept the screw heads you should not have any issues. The holes drilled for the shelf supports were way too small. Could not put the support pegs in with fingers; had to pound in with a hammer. Be careful as this again is particle board and it is brittle. Also they only give you EXACTLY the right amount of dowels, screws and cams. Don't be careless when you open the plastic bags and let them drop. I lost one cam in the room and spent a long time looking for it, as there are no extras and you really do need them all. They do supply extra screws for the back panel as they are very small screws, but you could probably replace them quite easily if lost. Over all I am quite satisfied with these bookcases. They do not look like they are the "real" wood expensive sort but very close. The only real issue I had is the one loose shelf.

I thought this was going to be solid wood but it is pressed wood. Very disappointed!!! It was really hard to put together & when it was finish the shelves didn't come close to fitting. Their was at least a quarter inch from the sides. It is pure junk & is going back.

I would not recommend this particular white Canwood bookcase. It emits a strong chemical odor for at least a month, which is a problem in our small baby's room. The bottom piece didn't fit perfectly, but the other pieces did (the backing was tricky, but if you were very careful, it fits well). Construction seemed ok, and the assembly was Ikea-style. Cheaper at your local big-box store (and you can return it). It arrived with a small 1-2" dent/splinter, but it was not noticeable for my application because I installed it in a closet. One wall-strap is included, designed to strap awkwardly to the side and onto the wall. The strap is black nylon, and is stands out. Works great for a closet if you have a lot of time to air it out first.

The loveseat is excellent and beautiful. The delivery and customer service from the company was a nightmare. Be prepared to hire another moving company to bring the loveseat inside your house and place it. The company customer service would not answer my calls to discuss and work out the problem. The delivery company they hired said they couldn't help me either. My suggestion, call the company and find out exactly what you have to do to have it delivered the way you want it and then decide if the price is worth it.

Aside from the fact that it arrived with a tear on the footrest, this was the most UNCOMFORTABLE piece of furniture I have ever sat on and the footrests popped up so fast that I got a leg bruise from being hit by one. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND COASTER FURNITURE AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE! It was attractive, but that's ALL. It actually made my hips hurt it was so hard and uncomfortable. MADE IN CHINA. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU DON'T PLAN TO SIT ON IT. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!!!

Okay well you sold me; I was skeptical when I ordered this item but the picture was what I was looking for so I had to give it a try. I am so glad I did. The wallmonkey does exactly as they say, it sticks to the wall; without tape or nails. Just peel off the back and apply to wall. Sauder Harbor View Full / Queen Headboard with Painted Antique Finish

I have researched and looked for a headboard for a long time now and decided to go with this one because I like Sauder. I bought a platform metal frame from Amazon as well and kept reading about how it's difficult to attach headboards. This headboard seemed heavy and solid enough not to worry about that issue and I was right. The headboard fits perfectly behind the bead and no brackets needed. It is solid all the way to the floor and heavy and sturdy.

First of all I am really impressed with this headboard. It is very heavy (about 95-98 pounds)but I was able to put the entire thing together myself and I am a 5'2 female. I used my bed as a work-space and kept rotating it without scratching it. I only needed help with the lifting part when I was done.It took me about an hour and a half, maybe less to assemble it because of the weight. It was very easy to understand and the pre-drilled holes were perfectly lined up.

I know I always look for information on wood types, so I will let you know what this is. It is not solid wood except for the posts. It is engineered wood, but very well made and what I come to expect from this company. I have a Sauder entertainment center that is well over 12 years old and it has been moved 3 times now and still is as nice as it was on day one except for a few dings from moving, lol. I expect this headboard to hold up the same because of the solidness.

The finish is more satin and the color is a very very dark brown, NOT black. It looks old and antique and reminiscent of wood shutters on an old house. I have been so in love with the color and the distressed look, I am redoing my older dresser and nightstand the same color.

Summing up, very solid piece of furniture, easy assembly, very pretty. Beware of the weight & what frame you have; mine is a platform metal frame from Amazon and I did not need brackets at all. Solid and heavy enough to sit by itself behind the bed and doesn't move.

Sauder has come a long way, the product was well made and easy to put together, no problmes at all...

The directions for assembly for this product are horrible. There are only so many times that you can photo copy a photo copy and still be able to see the image clearly. It is one piece of paper with 4 drawings for assembly. It wouldn't hurt to spend an extra 10 cents to have better directions. After assembling it and disassembling it several times to have the parts in the correct location, and not backwards, it looks great! For the money, it is a very nice rack.

I've got to admit I was skeptical about ordering this online, but it arrived in great condition and was easy to put together. It's just what we were looking for to fill in a corner in the kitchen.

The only drawback I can see to the rack is the fact that the racks feet point out at a 45° angle from the rack itself. This has a habit of grabbing my toes as I walk past it, not every time mind you, just enough to be aggravating. All in all though a great little rack at a good price.

Prepac Espresso Double Platform Storage Bed (6-drawers)

This bed is great. I purchased this bed along with a tall bookshelf headboard when I moved into a new place that didn't have room for both my dressers. The drawers are not as big as you would get in a dresser, but there are six of them, so it was exactly what I needed for the additional storage.

The packages are pretty heavy, which was the first sign that the material is of quality. It took several hours to put together, and you definitely need a partner to do it. Nothing is labeled explicitly, but once you get a hang of the materials and directions the assembly is not difficult despite it taking so long. Having a drill screwdriver definitely is a must; it would otherwise take forever. Once constructed, I found the bed to be really sturdy and solid. The drawers slide easily and fit great into their slots. Overall, the bed does not feel or look cheap.

I am very pleased with this product, especially at this price. I've already gotten compliments on it and am excited when I see it my bedroom!

It's a fairly nice bed for the price, has under bed drawers and if you add a memory foam mattress it's even nicer to sleep on.

Nice dark wood color, it is pressed wood, looks nice. It is also fairly low to the ground not as tall as some beds are. The under bed storage is nice, good choice for apartment dwellers without a lot of room.

I bought this bed for my Daughter and Son-in-Law, who told me that their mattress was a full. I thought that Vision Decor had sent me the wrong sized bed, called the seller. And corresponded via email, the seller was most helpful and gracious. I only found out that my daughter had given me the wrong dimensions when the seller asked us to measure the mattress.

So, I thanked the seller and bought a full sized Eco Friendly Temper like foam mattress from Walmart online and the whole problem of the bed was finally solved.

Through it all the seller was great, even though I was wrong about the size.

We bought this bed and a headboard/bookshelf unit for my then 8-year old daughter. It was inexpensive and I needed something that would give her extra storage space. I have tried to convince myself for 2 years that the horrible smell in her room was the fish tank and not the bed, that she probably wasn't being exposured to unsafe levels of formaldehyde every day, and that I am not a horrible person for not going out and buying a nicer all-wood option for her. This weekend we finally demo'd the horrible cheapo formaldehyde bed and got her a good, solid wood bedframe. I will miss the storage, but the quality of this piece of junk was always terrible. The drawers didn't close all the way, the thing just felt flimsy and the smell at times was overwhelming. I can hardly think of what she might have suffered healthwise from sleeping in that room for so long with the bed. I wish I had gotten rid of it the first week we had it and realized what a mistake it was to buy it. The new bedframe is expensive, but will last us a lifetime. Already her room is just more pleasant to be in. The lingering smell is gone and you can breathe in there again.

I am very pleased with the finished product. It is sturdy and rich looking. The drawers in particular are made of very good material. I assembled this myself. It wasn't easy sometimes, but definitely possible. The directions are very clear, however it would have been nice to have the pieces labeled. Also might have been nice to have markings on where to nail the drawer bottoms. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. The drawer sides ARE labeled R and L, if you look really hard. The bed comes in three boxes, so be sure it has all arrived before you start. It was all packed very well and all the hardware was included. The only time it might have been good to have help was when I was trying to attach the footboard and keep the slats aligned properly. That was a bit of a challenge. I also purchased the bookcase headboard that goes with it. My only suggestion is that if you purchase both, don't push the bed all the way up against the headboard. The bed does not attach to the headboard, by the way. Leave about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch or so to be sure the drawers of the bed have clearance to open. Good purchase.

I have owned this lamp for many years without problem. There are five lamps, and all are somewhat movable. They can be spread out or can be brought together. My model has a switch that turns on 2, 3, or all 5. The brass finish is durable and shiny. The base is weighted for added stability. The base fits under the couch. The bulbs are 60 watt.

This is a beautiful lamp especially behind a sectional couch. We had ordered the Ore International lamp previously and it was a huge disappointment. Parts were missing and the packaging was in shreds. The pieces inside were shabbily wrapped. We returned it immediately and hesitated to reorder another lamp like this. After doing research on this Coaster lamp we took the chance and were not disappointed. It came protectively wrapped. All the pieces were there and it wasn't difficult to put together. It looks beautiful behind our sectional and has a dimmer switch that really makes the lamp handy. I would never purchase from Ore International again but recommend any Coaster product based on our experience.

The product had a lot of damage when we received it but we were fully compensated by the seller and that is a fault of the packaging and delivery method rather than the actual product itself.

It was a very bright, garish brass as well, a lot more so than in the picture and very tall so tall that only a large, old house would fit it. The base was also rather unsightly and I was not convinced that it would hold the weight of the lamp stable enough with kids around bumping into it and pulling on it.

I would not recommend the purchase of this product in any way.

It seems overhead lamps in polished brass are not all that easy to find these days, and I was happy to find a good one offered on Amazon. I'm very pleased with this overhead (spider) lamp now prominently on display behind a new sectional sofa. The overall quality is fine and the color of the polished brass is proper, not overdone as was mentioned in another review. The lamp assembly and adjustment of the 5 lamp arms was easy; took less than 30 minutes. The base foot of the lamp is pretty heavy and holds the 84" high lamp securely in place. All 5 40W bulbs light up and can put out plenty of bright light, if desired; rotate the knob to set/adjust the brightness. I also bought a simple remote control switch from Amazon for use with this lamp and it all works together perfectly. Good overall quality and good value. I definitely recommend this polished brass overhead lamp.

The lamp is very tall You should check the dimensions of your space. Arrived with some dings on it but in areas that wound up being hidden. The base is very ugly but functional. You need to be able to hide it well. Puts out a lot of light.
