Ameriwood Headboard, Full/Queen

First, I am overall very happy with the product. I think it is overall a 4.5 star product, but I had to remove a star for the following reasons:

1. The item is not the color in the picture, it is a deep espresso color, close to black.

2. There were a few small scuffs that revealed the wood underneath.

3. The bolts to attach to my bed frame are not properly aligned.

For the first point, I am okay with the espresso color; not too picky this time around.

For the second point, I can fill in the scuffs/paint chips with a marker and it will look fine. I can't really see them from afar, only if I look up close.

For the third point, I'm going to try to hammer the end of the frame down to fit the bolt holes -it's only off by a 1/4 inch or so. This could also be my frame, not the headboard, so I don't put all the blame on the product.

Again, I think the overall value is very good. For close to $100, I am very happy.

Looks great and is very sturdy. I am actually using it for an air bed I bought for my guest room. My parents come to visit and my dad need to be able to sit up. He said it worked perfectly for him.

Day Dreamer Premier 6000

This mattress is thin and light. The good news. It's easy to fold from a couch to a Futon. It's great as a sometimes guest bed. It's inexpensive. But it's not up to par. If you're using it to sleep on, it already slightly sags in the middle, lacking support and this is when it's new. What happens as it ages? You must flip this mattress every week to try to keep it's shape if you are sleeping on it.

American Alliance the company that makes this in Corona Calif, is a secondary manufacturer of futon products. They are not up to par with major expert manufacturers of Futon products like Wolf, Goldbond, Otis, August Lotz, etc. These are the big boys.

Expect to have a cheaper mattress but you get what you pay for. American Alliance is a relatively new comer to the this field inexperienced.

The customer service people Like Lorena Gonzolez and Greg the service manager at this company have very little knowledge about their own products and very little desire to help you in time of need like if you tell them, "like take this damn thing back I don't want it." LOL. Many times don't bother to email you back and answer your questions, inquiries. They just iqnore you great! Does the owner of this company know about any of this? Also the people in the factory are so lazy they can't walk over to a mattress and read what's on one mattress tag. (I wanted to confirm if what's actually in this mattress is what's actually advertised)

The mattress comes folded in half with the cords tied on very strongly so that you have to cut them and the heavy plastic to open it not a good idea. Most distributors want you to repack in the original packing if you have to send it back.

The mattress has a chemical smell to it even after airing it out for 3 hours. Two weeks later and in a very good cotton twill futon cover, it still has the smell. If you get this mattress, i suggest you put it in a room for two weeks with windows open so it can air out. In all fairness, this is not the only Futon mattress that comes with a smell many do as reported on the web but most of those are foam based. This has some foam.

The elite 8000 mattress is no better fancy description but don't add up to what it is. The 8000 is the upgrade for this, looks the same but has extra features. Be aware, because I know of at least one person who ordered the 8000 and they shipped the 6000 they look the same. And the mattress tags they put on these are all the same as to confuse you. He could tell by the weight it wasn't the 8000.

Again, it's a good inexpensive futon mattress to use occasionally but that's it. Anything else and my advice is look somewhere else or you will be very very disappointed.

Mattress is a good replacement for the original futon mattress for an Ikea full-sized futon that I acquired second-hand. It came well packaged, although some part of the tag had melted onto the fabric and took a while to peel off. Most importantly, I can no longer feel the bars when sitting on the futon as a couch. I've only had it one day, so I am unsure of the durability of this but it looks like it will last longer than the previous (a few years). Very satisfied.

The mattress is a softer than a futon mattress, but not much thicker. It works well for my daughter, though, who has no back problems. We added two thick foam pads to the top, and it is very comfortable for her.

The old futon mattress I had was wearing kind of thin, so I ordered this one in blue and I really like it. I put it on top of the old mattress for more thickness, and it is super soft. The shipping was amazingly fast. The new mattress had a factory smell to it, but after airing it out it's okay.

Monarch Specialties Cappuccino Hollow Core 70-Inch Euro TV Console

I was looking for a modern TV stand for a 51" plasma. Loved the design and the price. The unit is faced particle board construction. It is not hardwood but the finish looks great and is durable. Construction is solid.

BUT, and this is huge for me,...the center section that is supposed to house the A/V equipment does not have wide enough bays for standard stereo components and most blu-ray players. Each bay behind the sliding glass door is only about 16" wide! How does that happen...REALLY bad design!!! Not sure how to return an 80lb. assembled piece of furniture to Amazon.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Those four little spaces where the shelves are, are REALLY small, very narrow; so small, they can't fit a normal sized tuner, CD player, DVD player, or anything of that normal sized equipment. We own 4 tuners, 2 DVD players and not one of them even comes close to fitting. You'd think with 70 inches and being an "entertainment" stand, that they'd be able to house entertainment electronics, blah!

Apart from that feature, it's a pretty solid piece, drawers work fine and sliding glass glides smoothly. It is a very dark brown, closer to black than a normal brown.

I like this cabinet very much. I just left out the center divider when I built it so the center is one wide area rather than 2 small sections. My components stack pretty well so I did not need the shelves. This did not hurt the structural integrity of the piece.

The color was not as dark as I thought it would be, but that was my fault for misreading the description. Assembly was very easy, took about an hour. It is a very strudy piece of furniture and the quality of the materials are excellent!

When this huge box was delivered, I thought, oh my what have I gotten myself into, but assembly was fairly simple. It took me about 2 hours from out of the box to putting stuff in and on it. Words for the instructions vs. diagrams would be better or even better, both, but I got through it and it looks great. Love the length of the console, love the contemporary design. Quality seems to be top notch.

Dream On Me Toddler Day Bed, Black

Don't waste your time buying a product from Dream On Me. We bought this bed when our two year old decided to start climbing out of her crib. It arrived quickly from Amazon. On opening the box and assembling it we discovered two major issues and a few minor ones. Issue one: the back side of the bed had a slat that was broken. Issue two: the drawer doesn't fit correctly -the other reviewers are not kidding when they say it sticks. It really, really sticks. The minor issue is the general fit and quality of all the parts--they don't.

Disappointing, but stuff like this happens. Most companies that sell this kind of furniture, such as Sauder, will send you a replacement part if you call them. I found a number in the assembly instructions and called it. It didn't work. It's not in service.

Now I was worried, but fourtunately the internet came through. On the Dream on Me website is a number. It works.

But...

When called you get a receptionist or an answering service, and transferred to voice mail. It happened twice over a week and my call was never returned.

Finally I get through to "Alissa" in customer service.

She told me that they're the manufacturer and that they don't deal with customers.

Stunning.

When questioned, "why do you have a toll free contact number if you don't deal with customers she seemed genuinely perplexed. She proceeded to tell me how I didn't get it. Basically, my expectation of having a manufacturer stand behind their brand new product was ridiculous. At that point she hung up on me.

I can't give negative stars so I'll give it a one star.

The drawers are so thin that it was not worth the extra money paid to have drawers. They are pretty useless.

Received this bed in February for my 20 month old daughter. She has used it for less than 2 months when one of the mattress supports bars broke. There was NO jumping on the bed or other person on bed other than my 30 pound child. The manufacturer ONLY offers a 30 defect warranty.. I guess I know why now.. The drawer is difficult to open/close and does not store very much.. Maybe an extra set of sheets or blankets. I called Dream On Me and although customer service was promptthey still want me to pay for the shipping of the replacement barseems to me if you sell a defected itemyou fix it. Nice little bed, my one year old loves it. Fit and finish were OK. The drawer underneath was a pain though, I had trouble attaching the back panel of the drawer. The two bottom pieces of the drawer were too wide and needed to have an eighth of an inch ripped off on the table saw. The mattress from the crib fit nicely and it is low enough that with the help of a pillow on the floor she can climb in and out.

It took my husband and my brother 1.5 hours to assemble this bed. They assembled all the furniture in my house, from bookshelves to TV stands, and this one took the longest. Not because it is complicated to assemble, but because the parts didn't always match up due to poor construction. "Dream On Me" could have made the parts align easier.

Three people were need to assemble this bed because the bed need 6 hands just so we can snap all the posts into place at the same time. The posts is what will make up the bottom support system of the bed to hold the mattress. There are a total of 6 posts that all needed to be aligned at the same time to assemble the sides of the bed.

There were also other pieces that didn't align as instructed, especially when it was time to assemble the bottom drawer. Despite all our efforts to fit all the pieces together, the bottom drawer still gets stuck when we open it more than halfway so I took off a star. We have resorted to lifting up the crib mattress just to access the drawer. We purchased the toddler bed with the Sealy Baby Ultra Rest Mattress

I suppose for $165 toddler bed, I expected a little much. But I did see this bed for sale on other websites as high as . So I just think Amazon has a really good deal. If I paid $250 for this bed, I'd be very upset at the difficult parts, especially when I can't even use the bottom drawer properly.

After everything is assembled the toddler bed does look nice and is very low to the ground. The bed rail is shorter than I expected, it covers barely 1/3 the length of the bed. I expected the bed rail to protect at least 2/3 part of the bed to prevent an accidental fall. That's what I was used to when I was a kid.

So now comes the REAL challenge .... making my daughter sleep in this toddler bed instead of her crib.

Frenchi Furniture Wood 3 Pc Vanity Set in Espresso Finish

I got this vanity about a week after I ordered it. It was well packaged and didn't have any damage upon arrival. I put it together myself without too much trouble. Attaching the mirror to the back of the vanity was the only part where four hands probably would have been easier, but I managed just fine. It looks so good and much more expensive than it really is. I bought two Itso cubes at Target in the espresso finish for additional storage and they match perfectly plus the two stacked together are almost the exact height of the vanity. It makes for a perfect little set up.

Checking in: Over two years later, I still love this vanity. It has held up very well. I did have to tighten the screws recently, but that's mostly from my daughter hanging onto the edge to see what's up there. I also have to tighten the stool screws occasionally, but again, I use it as a step stool for my arthritic boxer to get up onto my bed, so, uses outside proscribed expectations. Overall this has been a very good product.

this is definitely a great buy! The package was wrapped so tightly it took me about 30 minutes to open it, so everything was in perfect condition. I received it less than a week of ordering it and assembly was extremely easy! I think the quality is a better than the price and am very happy with this purchase!

Bar Unit with Wine Rack and Stemware Rack in Black Finish

This bar is absolutely wonderful. The only problem that I had with it, and it's not the bars problem but my problem, is that the bar is REALLY heavy (250lbs+) and I had to move it from my garage to my basement so me and my neighbor really broke a sweat with it. I see this as a positive though, because it is a very well built bar unit.

When I received this item it was cracked along the side from top to bottom. Not to mention other little nicks and indents I've noticed after having made a deal with the seller. I contacted the seller and was offered 10% off the purchased price (by no means is going to fray the cost of repairs) which I accepted . Although the seller was willing to take back the unit, they said they would not replace it because I failed to indicate that the box was damaged on invoice, even though I sent them pictures of the damages.

I felt that I was pretty much stuck with the unit because I didn't know that it was damaged until I had set it up and thrown out much of the box. Although item looks just like the picture (minus the crack) this unit for display purposes only. I don't feel that I could use it as a real bar because it bruises very easily. Just leaning on it could cause scratches and dents to the counter. I would not dear put anything wet (like a cold drink) on the bar for fear that it would stain the paint and cause discoloration to the counter top. Also be mindful that there is an odor to this bar. Although the odor is not as strong as when I first got it, I can still smell it and I had it for over a week. This is probably from the cheap paint that's been applied. The base is very heavy and sturdy but I'm thinking that maybe the counter is made up of crushed wood and not solid wood that's why it can be so easily damaged. I find myself instructing my company to look at the bar but not touch it.

If I had the chance to rethink my purchase I would not buy this unit nor would I recommend it to anyone else. If you do decide to take a chance and buy this product, protect yourself and make sure you indicate on the invoice that the box is damage, if you don't and you realize later that the item is damaged you are pretty much screwed. The bar for quality and function was not set up high for this bar.

m.style Bloom Shower Curtain
