The platform frame and headboard arrived separately but both packages were very beat up and torn. Not uncommon with UPS. I was concerned that the backboard material would be torn but thank GOD it was not, as sending back such large items after they're opened can be a nightmare. In any event, all pieces were there and intact. All the screws, pieces etc. The frame and head board were VERY easy to put together and I was able to do it in less than an hour. It is beautiful! Most platform beds and headboards of this caliber cost upwards of $1200.00! Very sharp and stunning looking and of good quality.
The only disappointment was the slats that came with it. Not only were they VERY splintery with their shards falling off and getting everywhere while setting up, but it only came with 3! Each slat did have two supports which are nice, giving the center line of the slats more than enough stability. I purchased this for my new memory foam mattress though and kind of thought the foundation would have been more like cut plywood, giving the entire foundation support. This is not the case. If you are purchasing this for a memory foam mattress you will need to either cut plywood to make a solid foundation or purchase a foundation for a memory foam mattress. They can be quite expensive, upward of $200.00 and none that I researched had really good ratings. I choose to place my mattress on my old box spring. The coils within my current box spring are very firm and in good shape so I thought it would work well. So far so good. It does make the mattress higher than I wanted it to look, but it still looks beautiful so I'll stick with this route for a while. My second option would have been to go to Home Depot and buy a piece of plywood and have them cut it in a few pieces (which they do for free by the way) to place across the slats to give it a solid foundation. So, all in all, AND for the price which you can't beat...I am VERY pleased with this purchase!
Ok, couple of things that I wanna state before giving two thumbs up. First thing is to MAKE sure that your bed/frame is at least 61 inches (mine was 59 1/2inches, go figure). The slates blows very much (cheap), but I am using them as support for my bed box. The bed frame itself is very nice. It looks very sleek and expensive. The faux leather looks pretty good I may add. This is a very nice bed frame for the price. It's a must buy for anyone that wants something fancy but does not have the money. I will recommend this product to everyone!
P.S To seller, please next time create the inner frame wider (2-4inches wide) just to be on the safe side. You can also attached another inner frame towards the feet board. This would highly improve the frame and don't include the slats you use they are no good for this beautiful bed frame.

First off, the 2 boxes that the bed came in arrived completely beaten up as if they were thrown off a bridge a few times. The metal feet were packed in a box within the box, with no wrapping or cushioning, so they probably banged together during shipment and their paint is all peeled off. We thought this was the worst of the problems.
We went to assemble the large faux leather feet to the headboard, and NONE of their holes matched up between the 2 pieces in order to screw them together. My husband had to re drill holes through the wood 1/2" away from the original holes in order for it to screw in properly.
2 hours later, all we had was the headboard complete. The side rails and foot board were the only easy part to snap together. When we unwrapped the wooden slats, I was not surprised to find them completely splintering and one was cracked down the center. There is no way these 3 little flimsy slats can hold a box spring, memory foam bed, and the weight of 2 people. This made our old IKEA bed look good in comparison, at least those slats are solid and comes with a middle metal support beam.

They are very cute. Colors are pretty much what you see on Amazon. We got 3 packs because we were going to put them on all 4 walls, used just over 2 so we have some left over now. We haven't had any issues with them sticking to the walls they've been up for a couple weeks.
