This storage is nice, but for small shoes only. I thing it may be good for kids shoes or some not high adults shoes. If you plan to store some shoes that are about 5" or higher, they will not fit perfectly and you will not be able to close the door. The other thing is that this unit is not sturdy enough to use as a seat when you put on your shoes (I think many people would like to seat down while putting on shoes, especialy if you need to tie shoes laces), so PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO SEAT ON IT. it is so ligh weight that sometimes when you try to open the door you will have to hold the unit, otherwise it moves along the floor.

Putting up the decal definitely takes some patients, but as long as you follow the instructions it is definitely doable. The decal itself is gorgeous, looks great! So glad I purchased these. They have really made my daughter's plain armoire POP.

You'll need a little patience and fingernails! to remove the pieces from the backing, but after that you're golden. They smooth out onto your surface very easily with no bubbles. A couple of my pieces tore, but I was able to match them back up with just a tiny inconspicuous seam.

The colors are true to the picture. My only caveats are:

1. No templates or samples, which I was hoping for since I'm not artistically inclined.

2. The decals are printed on white plastic, not clear. Because our armoire is oak-colored, we weren't able to use the tiny sprigs you see in the upper-right-hand corner of the second pic. Not a big deal though, as my daughter stuck them on white paper for a little art project.

All in all, a good value! Would buy again.

the bed Very sturdy and easy to assemble for a mail order bed. (Although it is a little tedious, there is a lot of parts due to the shelving.) I love the platform bed, but see my caveat for the headboard.

HOWEVER Do not choose the lowest list price. I ended up paying double for shipping than I did for my gun safe which weighed about 3 times more. Before you choose which Amazon company to use, put it in cart and see what the total price is... then repeat until you find the TRUE best price.

1-5-09 update Now that I have had it for a few weeks. The drawers are pretty useless. 2-3 are already not tracking well, as if the tracks are worn or warped. I am simply not going through the effort to disassemble to get the necessary access to fix. I am trying to find out how to drop my rating a star or two.

Bed went together fine. Worked fine for sleep. First time I had sex on it, drawers went out of alignment. Am going to have to reinforce it to keep it square.

AAA Home Furniture Discounts lacks integrity should be avoided at all costs. I have dealt with hundreds of Sellers in the Amazon Marketplace and AAA Home Furniture Discounts is by far the worst. They misrepresented the product (it's not solid wood and actually contains cheap particleboard) and refused to replace damaged parts, then taunted me and said they would win against any claim I might file. Shipping was overpriced and underpackaged. They are completely unprofessional and never even sent an order acknowledgment or shipping confirmation. DO NOT REINFORCE THIS BEHAVIOR!

After a year of owning this bed I cannot begin to describe how much I hate it. This bed has problems that until I owned this thing I had no idea even existed in the realm of beds.

-The slats that support the mattress came in an array of different sizes, some of them not even long enough to fit securely into the slat holders. This causes the mattress to dip down and make a ton of noise as the loose slats click and clack as they are pushed around.

-The wood is made of cheap particle board that is easily broken. This combined with some of the worst quality metal hardware I've seen (the stuff you get at Ikea is about 10 times greater than what is packaged with the bed) has caused numerous areas where the bed isn't even fully attached as the nut has turned inside the wood and destroyed the wooden opening where the nut is supposed to securely fit.

-If you buy the headboard which is made for the bed, it doesn't properly even line up with the bed. There is this abyss between the bed and the headboard where if anything falls through you will have to move the entire bed to retrieve it. This is especially great when you happen to drop your cell phone down there right before you leave for work.

-Finally, if you are a victim of the headboard/bed abyss and have to move the bed to get your lost item, the entire drawer system will break down and all the drawers will stop working until you properly realign all of the tracks.

We've had this thing for a little over a year and had to move it one time, and we are planning on throwing it away and buying a bed from Ikea for half as much the next time we move. The bed is so crappy it will literally not survive another move if all the problems we had moving it the first time are any indication.

I can't believe we paid almost 500 dollars for this thing.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. BED.

We recently bought this bed as a Christmas present to ourselves to try and get some organization into our bedroom. We have a very small house,with two adorable but messy kids, so any way to store, organize or hide things is great! My husband put it together, and the headboard that is suggested to go with it, in a little over 3 1/2 hours with a few little breaks and 1 smahed thumb.

I was actually suprised when we got it and it had 3 drawersin the tiny picture it looks like only 2. They are sturdy enough for clothes and some heavier stuff and they open and close with ease.

The only thing that I can think of on the negative side is the length of time that was estimated to deliver it. Apparently it came from Canada, so it had to go throught their customswhich takes an extra 5 days. It did arrive with no damage, and it is heavy and sturdy enough that we are pleased that we won't need to buy another bed any time soon. Maybe a new matress one day, but that actually got a lot firmer when we lost the box springs, so maybe not for a long time.

We put this on a small wall above a short bookcase. It had several easy to follow steps and took about 30-45 minutes. It sticks tightly to the wall and looks great. We added a small Tinkerbell near the end of the first line to add a little extra to it. Everybody who has seen it compliments us on how great and professional it looks.

I just ordered this item and chose two day delivery. I didn't want to spend the extra $50 for next day. Well to my surpirise it came the next day, which is great. The bench/trunk is easy to put together except for the last step. Attaching the spring hinges is a challenge. the bottom of the hinge is mounted inside the chest and you have the spring arm in your way. You have two 1/4" screws to mount it and about 3/4" clearance two try and fit your fingers in there to hold the screw while you install it. It's really hard to describe this process but it took me 15 minutes per hinge!! If there is a trick to it I never figured it out.

The bench is even more attractive than it looks in the pictures. It is solid and very sturdy with a ton of storage inside. It is only 2"" longer than the trunk it is replacing but there is so much storage room inside that what was in my old trunk barely fills this one. I especially like the lid. Thanks to the spring mechanism it stays where you put i. No need to hold it open while you're looking for something inside it.

This bench is well worth the price, infact it looks like it cost much more. It's a quality piece of furniture.

This chest is well made. It's sturdy but not too heavy. It has a significant amount of storage space and is strong enough to be used as extra seating as well. It has a beautiful color and finish and it was very easy to put together.

Assembly is relatively easy for a taller person but if you don't have good balance or reach, you may need help putting it together. The chest looks great but is cheaply made. The side panels I could knock a hole through with little effort. The stain and varnish finish is cheaply done and if something hits the chest the varnish will crack from little force. I would only pay $100.00 max for this chest. From the previous reviews I read I really expected this to be worth the $220.00 I paid and not so cheaply made. Make sure it is somewhere where no one will touch it or bump it. Also other reviews claim the inside is very large. I could only store four child size blankets and two pillows inside and it is full. When people claim large storage space I would assume two or three adult comforters and a couple pillows. I would guess one adult comforter and two pillows would fit if you choose to store a full size comforter.

I purchased the Sorelle Joel Toddler Bed in Oak on Pine about 2 years ago when my daughter just turned 1 yrs old. Now, she is 4 years old and still uses this bed. This bed was extremely easy to put together and it is sturdy after 2 years of use. I love the quality of the bed. It is sturdy. The only drawback I have about this bed is the drawer. The drawer is wide, but not deep. Plus, like another reviewer mentioned, it does not stay on the tracks that well, which causes it to be difficult to open and close. Being that the bed is made out of Pine, it does scratch easily. There are a few scratches on the bed that shows, but what can you do. It's wood and it is bound to get knicked up. I am on the market again for another toddler bed, since my youngest will be 1 yrs old in May. I will be looking at purchasing this bed, in the same color, again.

We had a convertible crib, but when it came time to convert it, the mattress surface was just too high 22 inches. Our little guy had to jump out. This bed is sturdy and the mattress surface is 15 inches off the floor. So, our little guy can just slide off and still keep his balance.

Assembling the mattress support was a bit tricky, requiring two extra hands. I would recommend marking the position of the holes for each dowel with a sharpie -that will help you position each of the slats. Took some trial and error before I figured that out....

I saw the other comments on here about the drawer, and I have to agree that it has questionable utility -it just isn't very deep. I decided to assemble it anyhow, and taking the comments here to heart, I used some wood glue on the joints to reduce the flimsiness. All the drawer is holding is the instructions and the little hex wrench they give you for assembly. It's perfect for that!

I'm not happy at all with the Amazon delivery contractor -"Pilot". I made an appointment with them using their system, asking for 9-12. They called at 12 and said it would be 2, called at 1:30 and said it would be 3, then called at 4 to reschedule.... Finally showed up at 5:30 in what appeared to be an airport shuttle van. Rather than making an appointment, I wish there was an option for "leave it on my porch and I'll call you if it's damaged". I would have been happy with that; that's what UPS and Fedex do.

But just a minor annoyance. My son is sleeping in the bed right now, so it seems to work.

The bed was very easy to put together. I put it together by myself with being 7 months pregnant and I had no problems with it. The bed is very sturdy and my son loves it. The only thing is that the side rails are very low once you put the mattress on the bed. We used a regular crib mattress and the rails ended up being barely 1/2 inch above the mattress. Other then the low side rails we really like the bedwell built and beautiful look. Because of the rails I only gave it 4 stars as if I had a kid that was active when sleeping the low rails might be an issue.

We got this bed, in expresso, from Buy Buy Baby. One of the bed slats that screws to the bed rails had the hole drilled wrong (it was about 1/2" off center). 5 of the nuts that it screws into were missing. The instructions said we would get 9 wooden dowels...we got one, and it was snapped in half. The allen wrench that came with it was severely bent. Also there were scratches on the headboard. The bed was made in 2011 and it was a brand new bed based on all the packaging I had to take off. We wrote the company and within 4 days then sent new slats...but they were the wrong ones. I finally just returned it to the store and got something different.

The wall mat things are very basic and only have a small ring on the middle of the back of them to keep them hung on the wall. It would be better if the rings were near the top so the don't lean down so much. It's almost like their looming over you! The picture of the item as shown above is how it would look if the rings were at the top, not the middle.

A good tug could remove the rings, and I could just sew them back on, but I haven't. They do match the bed spread nicely, though.

The bench is beautiful and seems to be well made. The fabric is a little different than the white/off white that it appears in the photo. The threads that make up the fabric are beige and tan, giving it what I would describe as an "oatmeal" color. Note that the bench is shipped without the legs attached, but it is easy to install them. After a moment of panic, I discovered the legs are actually inside of the bench seat. To access them, you have to peel back the fabric which is attached with velcro. The bench is very dramatic with it's high back, tufting and nailheads. I am using it in my dining room with a square, pedestal dining table in front of it. I placed some throw pillows on the bench and while it gives the dining room a nice, cozy feeling, it still has the modern edge that I wanted. I am very happy with the bench and would highly recommend it.
