Purchased this product as a more attractive space heater for my bedroom. The actual fireplace was delivered before the cabinet so don't be alarmed if you receive separate shipments. Putting the cabinet together was very simple and can be done by one person with little mechanical skills. I would recommend using wood glue to keep the wooden pegs that help hold the pieces together better. The wood stain and slate frontage piece look terrific and I have received compliments after I set it up. The remote makes it easy to control. I use this in a bedroom that has about 400sq feet with high ceilings and even at half heat mode, it kept the room warm. A great look to any room; I am very happy with this fireplace. I hope you enjoy it as much!

Totally worth the money! It is a quality piece. I was able to assemble it myself (it was that easy) You only need a screwdriver and it was a good thing since thats all I've got :) It locks together securely and know that no matter how many times I move, it can take it! Wasn't quite sure by the description of all that it was capable of, so I'll let you know. You can manually adjust or use the remote to turn it on/off (both just the fire effects and/or the heater), adjust the brightness of the logs from off to super bright, adjust the flaming effect from off to high effects (which is a little added niceness that I didn't know I was getting). And the switches and dials are hard to get to (I had to use a pencil to switch it on) which is nice because I'm not worried about my small children being able to play with them. I have nice new things but this is definitely the nicest thing in the room :)

We purchased this electric fireplace to sit in the corner of our living room. It has an attractive physical presence and looks nice in its location. It is substantial and well built. The ability to turn on the "flame" without the heat is a nice touch.

It is shipped in two packages one includes the cabinet and the other includes the heating unit. The cabinet is extremely well packaged and one would be unlikely to obtain it in a damaged condition. I was impressed with how well they packaged it.

But we were a bit disappointed in the "oak finish". It does not match the rest of our oak furniture as it has a darker finish (darker than the pictures show it to be). Still, it is quite attractive and "COZY IN KENTUCKY", who stated below that it looks better than the pictures, is correct.

Assembly is easy, but will take some time. Set aside an hour or two and use wood glue on the wooden dowels as others have suggested. While it is much easier to assemble with two people, one person can handle the task although it could be awkward to do so. An electric screwdriver is a great help. Instructions were supposed to be included, but were not included in my packaging. All else was as it should be. The instructions are easy to obtain and seem to be commonly left out of the package as SEI has spelled out how to obtain them in their FAQ. A simple call, or email, will result in the instructions being faxed or emailed directly to you. Unfortunately, SEI is not open past 5PM CST on Friday. If you have plans to assemble the unit over the weekend, and your instructions were not included, you will be out of luck until Monday. I found several people across the internet trying to locate the instructions and in the same fix as myself.

Overall, this is a nice unit, easy to assemble, works as it should, and is quite attractive. If you are looking for a reasonably cheap and good looking electric fireplace, you should consider this one.

This is probably my worst online purchase. I purchased two of the nightstands. After I unwrapped the first box and found that the nightstand was damaged, I did not even bother to open the second one. As I was taking pictures to show to the seller the defective nightstand, I noticed the quality of the nightstand was so poor. No wonder that it was damaged so easily. In addition, the product looks different than the picture shown online.

I bought two of these nightstands a few months ago. They are well put-together and the drawers don't catch. The finish is a little rough, and the drawers were narrower than I thought they would be. They are about four inches smaller than the width of the nightstand.

This is an attractive nightstand and looks well made. It came fully assembled (securely packaged) and in good condition. My husband also ordered one and his came with a very small chip the back corner on his (damage due to shipping). We used one of those furniture markers and you can hardly see the chip. Due to it being fully assembled and it's weight, it would have been more of a hassle to try to exchange it, so we sucked it up and dealt with it. The silver handles are a hard plastic (from the picture, they look like they are metal), but even up close you can't really tell they are plastic. They are not real wood, but appear to be and they look well made. The color is like a deep mahogany, very pretty. For the price, you can't beat them. They arrived quickly and for the most part, in good condition. I would recommend this seller.

Sebastian 6 Drawer Dresser

It looks nice. However, it arrived with broken parts! Considering it took almost 2 weeks after order to deliver the actual dresser, it was a bit of a disappointment to wait again for the replacement parts.

We got this in mocha for our daughter's nursery and it compliments it well.

UPDATE:

While I still like this dresser, I am not impressed with the fact that the broken parts didn't arrive until almost 2-weeks after being ordered. AND we discovered towards the end of the build that the back panel (F) was missing! Our baby is due to arrive any day now so at this point, we are going to Home Depot to get plywood for the back panel. I am a bit disappointed with the amount of time/effort spent just to put this dresser together.

My husband & were a little worried when we ordered this dresser, because of the mixed reviews. I'm glad we went for it. It's obviously not the ideal; it's totally particle board and there are a few places that the unfinished parts show. It does come with a touch up marker, though, and the instructions were really pretty easy to follow. They also sorted the hardware in such a helpful way! A lot of them are grouped by the step you use them for, and the hardware for each drawer is in its own little bag. It took us about 3.5 or 4 hours to put the whole thing together, but it wasn't really difficult. The drawers are just tedious. Also, some of the "pre-drilled" holes weren't there or weren't perfectly lined up, but it was easy enough to make it work. We can tell that it wouldn't hold up if we took it apart and reassembled it (or probably any part of it) because the screw holes in the boards are just too soft for that. Overall, it looks nice and the drawers roll in and out super smoothly. It's pretty nice. Warning: the corners of the top are SHARP. Just...watch out. :)

I bought these for my youngest daughter's room. My oldest daughter however, opened the package and assumed they were for her. She promptly put them all up in her room. I had to explain that these were her sisters and that I had ordered heart decals for her. So together we took down all of these from her walls and then put them up on her sister's walls. We had NO problems peeling them off of one wall and sticking them to another.

These have been hanging in my youngest's bedroom for several months now, and for the most part, they all hold pretty well (even with her constantly rearranging them). It was actually harder to peel these off the paper they came on (they kept wanting to rip) than it is to peel them off the wall. I've never had any problems with paint peeling off with the decals.

I love that these are temporary decals that match her style now, and I love that I can take them down and put up something else easily has her tastes change (or mature). It adds enough character to her walls without being overwhelming.

Her room is 10 feet by 12 feet and we bought TWO packages of these, they are evenly distributed on her walls and we all think they look great!

I ordered them over a month before receiving them, waited a very very long time....they gave a 2-3 week timeline, and it was more like 5-6 weeks before I got them...very very cute though,It's a nice warm yellow, like a mustard yellow, not in your face yellow or neon! The pic is pretty accurate. You put it all together yourself, easy to do really with a flat head screwdriver and a wrench. I will say that just like the reviews on the slipper chairs having one short leg, both of the 2 I ordered had one short leg, but with a few of the fabric circles(that you put on chair bottoms to prevent scratching the floors) they were balanced so no biggie. I'd give 5 stars if I got them on time!

I purchased 2 of these and they are well made, heavy, drawers open well, legs make the piece look stylish, only problem is the picture here makes it look like it is all mirrored and only the ends and the drawers are mirrored the frame is wood. It comes well packed, it was sent on a container ship to the Virgin islands and arrived in tact and arrived at the freight forwarder within the time specified by the supplier.

Sorelle Joel Toddler Bed, Espresso

I purchased the Sorelle Joel Toddler Bed in Oak on Pine about 2 years ago when my daughter just turned 1 yrs old. Now, she is 4 years old and still uses this bed. This bed was extremely easy to put together and it is sturdy after 2 years of use. I love the quality of the bed. It is sturdy. The only drawback I have about this bed is the drawer. The drawer is wide, but not deep. Plus, like another reviewer mentioned, it does not stay on the tracks that well, which causes it to be difficult to open and close. Being that the bed is made out of Pine, it does scratch easily. There are a few scratches on the bed that shows, but what can you do. It's wood and it is bound to get knicked up. I am on the market again for another toddler bed, since my youngest will be 1 yrs old in May. I will be looking at purchasing this bed, in the same color, again.

We had a convertible crib, but when it came time to convert it, the mattress surface was just too high 22 inches. Our little guy had to jump out. This bed is sturdy and the mattress surface is 15 inches off the floor. So, our little guy can just slide off and still keep his balance.

Assembling the mattress support was a bit tricky, requiring two extra hands. I would recommend marking the position of the holes for each dowel with a sharpie -that will help you position each of the slats. Took some trial and error before I figured that out....

I saw the other comments on here about the drawer, and I have to agree that it has questionable utility -it just isn't very deep. I decided to assemble it anyhow, and taking the comments here to heart, I used some wood glue on the joints to reduce the flimsiness. All the drawer is holding is the instructions and the little hex wrench they give you for assembly. It's perfect for that!

I'm not happy at all with the Amazon delivery contractor -"Pilot". I made an appointment with them using their system, asking for 9-12. They called at 12 and said it would be 2, called at 1:30 and said it would be 3, then called at 4 to reschedule.... Finally showed up at 5:30 in what appeared to be an airport shuttle van. Rather than making an appointment, I wish there was an option for "leave it on my porch and I'll call you if it's damaged". I would have been happy with that; that's what UPS and Fedex do.

But just a minor annoyance. My son is sleeping in the bed right now, so it seems to work.

The bed was very easy to put together. I put it together by myself with being 7 months pregnant and I had no problems with it. The bed is very sturdy and my son loves it. The only thing is that the side rails are very low once you put the mattress on the bed. We used a regular crib mattress and the rails ended up being barely 1/2 inch above the mattress. Other then the low side rails we really like the bedwell built and beautiful look. Because of the rails I only gave it 4 stars as if I had a kid that was active when sleeping the low rails might be an issue.

We got this bed, in expresso, from Buy Buy Baby. One of the bed slats that screws to the bed rails had the hole drilled wrong (it was about 1/2" off center). 5 of the nuts that it screws into were missing. The instructions said we would get 9 wooden dowels...we got one, and it was snapped in half. The allen wrench that came with it was severely bent. Also there were scratches on the headboard. The bed was made in 2011 and it was a brand new bed based on all the packaging I had to take off. We wrote the company and within 4 days then sent new slats...but they were the wrong ones. I finally just returned it to the store and got something different.

Important! This headboard is made to go with the matching bed-frame, not a standard mattress/box spring/metal frame set-up. It can structurally be used alone; but be aware that if you have a box spring and frame, your mattress will be a lot higher on the headboard than shown in the pictures, and your pillows will slide right into the lower shelf covering the bottom opening. We have a [hopefully] temporary fix of 8x8" cinderblocks under the two headboard support legs, and it works fine. It would be nice if it was made to fit a standard bed, and could work *flawlessly* as a stand alone piece as well as a component to the larger bedroom system (sold separately), but that is not the case. Check the dimensions against the height of your mattress before you buy.

All that said, I still really like this headboard! It looks really great, it is sturdy, and was relatively easy to put togetherI would recommend two people though. A cool feature is that you can have the opening on the end/side of the headboard be on either side, but the directions for how to do that (I think) are wrong. We got one step beyond that point and realized we needed to take that section apart and redo itluckily an easy task at that stage, and any thinking person could probably figure it out.

Another thing I wish the designers would change (besides the height) is all the wasted space beneath the shelvesin between the mattress and the wall. It seems like it would be very easy to make vertical shelves that could slide out of the sides of the headboard for more hidden storage. Right now, it is just an empty space back thereand for an item that was seemingly designed to help organize and maximize space, there is a lot (almost 10 cubic feet!) of wasted potential. But even with the wasted space, this is still a functional, great looking piece of furniture! Now if only I could get rid of those cinderblocks...

**Update: I've now had this about 6 months, and the center shelf is a little saggy. Not awful, but I wouldn't put anything heavy up there. That is a little frustrating, considering I wanted to use this for books, but I can rearrange it. A center shelf support on the bottom would be really helpful.

I love this headboard! It was very easy to assemble, arrived quickly & damage free, & looks exactly as described. I would recommend this to everyone.

This is a great headboard! It's not perfect, but works well for what I was looking for. Right now, I have a bed that sits directly on the floor with a box-spring and mattress. Since this headboard is made for a platform bed, it works perfectly with my set up. Eventually, I'll be getting the matching platform frame. For the most part, it was easy to put together with an additional set of hands and turned out quite sturdy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that a few pieces aren't exactly flush once put together (but barely noticeable), and there was a small ding on one of the boards (but again, barely noticable). I would definitely recommend this headboard. It's nice to have the extra storage and a place for my alarm clock and "at night" reading.

Prepac Sonoma Black Double Platform Storage Bed (6-drawers)

I didn't expect much for the price I paid for the bed, but you really do get what you paid for; a really cheap, fragile frame.

PROS: The instructions for assembly were clear and pretty easy to follow and I do like the drawers on both sides which really helped me out.

CONS: After assembly is where the big problems begin. This is not a bed frame that you will own for 10 years or probably even 1 year. Both my brother and I purchased this bed within a couple of months of each other and we are both experiencing the same problems.

The connectors used to keep the entire frame together are stripped. If you try to move the bed, the materials used instantly strip against the steel bolts and will not stay together anymore. This means that if you move at all while sleeping, the ends will start to move apart and the boards holding you up will slip loose.

The boards holding up our mattress no longer stay in place. This started after about a month. They all move towards the center so by morning your mattress has sunk in at the edges. This also puts a lot of strain on the running boards on the side and I can hear them making cracking sounds every time I get up.

The drawers have started to come apart and don't close all the way, again this is probably because the bolt holes are stripped and the bed won't stay together.

Don't plan on moving it once its set. My brother tried to move his to his new house and it never fit together again after taking it apart.

OVERALL: I would say this bed isn't worth the particle board and cheap plywood its made of, even for something temporary. Just sleep on the floor with your mattress and save for an extra month and by a decent frame that isn't made by Prepac Sonoma or one of the other names they go by.

The platform bed is exactly what we wanted, and we were not disappointed. Follow the instructions, you should have this bed together within an hour. Having a second person as a helper is a benefit to the assembly, but one person is able to do it.

Unit came in three (3) boxes. They are heavy, so if you have problems lifting over 50 pounds, have a helper.

Packaging is wonderful. Very well protected in the packaging. For heavy boxes like these, one can expect they may get dropped, and slid around during transport. A few bumps and scrapes on the outside of the boxes, but the great packing protects the contents very well. Not one mark on the contents, the bed parts, itself.

Well worth the money, which was less expensive than many other places checked, including retail stores.

I bought this bed for the same reason most people buy it. It was cheap and provides some much needed drawer space. I honestly did not have high expectations for it. I was pleasantly surprised. It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to put it together. It was easy to assemble. It has clean lines and once you put your linens on the bed looks pretty. One thing to keep in mind is that any type of free standing nightstand or side table renders the first drawer on either side useless. All in all I would recommend this product. I am very happy with it.

This bed has a metal rail at both the head and the foot of the bed. This rail is supposed to hold up the boards that hold the mattress. The boards are supposed to slide into the rail that is less than an inch deep. The problem is that the boards come popping out the bottom of the rail because the rail isn't deep enough and the boards aren't quite long enough. My daugher isn't a large person, and yet the boards pop out continuously. The drawers don't line up in a way that allows them to close smoothly (there is a gap on one side).

The bed is more or less attractive, relatively simple to assemble, utilitarian without being plain, and inexpensive for the high quality of its construction. But for all that savings, the cost is in its finicky, easily-misaligned or broken drawers, which are of course the main reason to purchase a bed of this design. A nice starter/apartment bed, but hardly anything special.

Motifs In A Minute Peel and Stick Wall Decor Appliqués Alphabet Buddies

I purchased several brands of wall decal before and these do not stick very well on wall that have textured surface but I am sure it will do fine if you have a completely smooth surface. Completely vinyl so you can put it in your bathroom. It comes off easily if you have a textured surface. Each alphabet is about half of your palm's size, and with the decoration and spelling, it is almost 3/4 of your palm size. If you accidentally stick a piece on top of the other, you can easily peel it off but the red color comes off easily, and stuck to the other sticker. Be careful. It has very cute designs, although the alphabet itself is not very clear. If you are using it to teach A-Z, it might confuse kids because some details are hidden by cute picture, example A, there is an apple in the hole where the A is. Hope the info helps.

These alphabet decals are very cute. However, they are very difficult to remove from the backing. You have to be super patient. Even then, they rip in places. It's simply a matter of the die not cutting deeply enough during manufacturing. Once up on the wall, they tend to peel away. The adhesive isn't nearly strong enough to keep them up on the wall. I found glue stick helped to adhere them to the wall. I do not recommend these. There is better quality out there.

I bought this dresser because it was the closest matching color and style to my baby's crib. I was very worried about all the bad reviews about how "cheap" and how "difficult to assemble" it was. Well, I have to say, I bought this dresser put it together by myself w/ not one problem. The directions were very self explainatory, and if you have put together pieces of furniture before, you should not have a problem at all. All the drawers lined up perfectly, there was no hardware missing, and no need to "drill new holes" what so ever. It is very sturdy, very thick, and very nice! The drawers are lacking in depth, however the front of the drawers are very big. So you can pile clothes pretty high, just won't be much support on the sides. It is baby furniture after all. It is also much larger than I expected, a definite plus! It is beautiful and I am not worried what so ever about using this as a changing table for her. I am now on my mission to review it on as many sites as possible so no one else fears buying this as much as I did. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

First off, I did not get this item from Amazon, I got it from a big store for $100 dollars less. Also I chose this item because it was an appropriate height for me and my fiance, we are very tall!

Whenever I get furniture that must be assembled, the first thing I do is organize the parts and take inventory.

Let me repeat that: I TAKE INVENTORY.

After organizing all of the little hardware pieces into ice cube trays I thought I was missing two parts, but upon calling storkcraft, A very nice man explained to me that part N just looks different than the illustration, and that parts O and P come screwed together, I wasn't missing any parts.

Parts 1, 9, and 5 seem like they are not labeled, but they are...just in a more roundabout way. 1 and 5 have two stickers on them, 1 has 2 and 3 because parts 2 and 3 go in on those sides.

Other items that weren't labeled were probably not labeled because their was only one of them and its obvious what it is, also the less stickers I have to remove the happier I am.

Granted, I hate instructions without words. But I am an intelligent human being, and with some patience and planning my fiance and I put this together with relative ease in just about 2 hours. We only messed up once and it was an easy fix.

Everything was packages nicely, the only dings came from us.

WE PUT IT TOGETHER CORRECTLY AND IT IS EXTREMELY SOLID. The people that reviewed this item and said it was cheap, or unstable clearly did not put it together correctly or have the patience to attempt to understand the instructions.

I mean, for the $250 I spent, I feel like we got a really good piece of furniture that will last many children. Also, you can't get solid wood furniture for under $700, it's impossibly. Yes the drawer bottoms are particle board, but it's a $300 dresser, what do you expect?

UPDATE: two years later and it is still doing ok. The biggest "fail" is that the guide rails for the drawers shimmied loose, but we glued them back in. And the door squeaks. Also the knobs kind of suck, but again, we just glued them and they are fine. This is not an heirloom piece, but it works just fine.

I am not trying to toot my own horn, but I can just about do anything I put my mind to, I am a handyman by trade. THIS, however, was a nightmare to put together. I put a crib and glider together in 1 hour, this took 3. First, the packaging is like a burrito, one long piece of padding that snakes the whole way through, more styrofoam than wood, well padded but a huge waste of materials. Pieces are not marked, they are only marked for the pieces they attach to, if marked at all. The finish is nice, but I have never seen so much hardware for 1 piece of furniture. The fasteners seem to be strong so that is a plus, hard on the hands after a while (I work all day with my hands). If you use a screwdriver you will develop carpal tunnel. I used a 12v drill and set it on a VERY low setting so I could finish by hand. There are hardwood pieces and particle board pieces. The "predrilled" holes on the back of dresser and the bottom of the drawers do not match up, PRE DRILL YOUR HOLES into the particle board, or you will break and/or splinter the wood. Once it is all done, you will be VERY happy with the product. It is beautiful and much larger than I expected. Instructions weren't good, but I've seen worse. One last thing, the hardware that is numbered separate from the door hinge, and looks like the door hinge and that is attached to the door and you cannot find it...it is because they number the complete hinge one number, and the separated hinge a different number, but never says to separate in the instructions. Good luck!!! Worth it but all reviews are right, not easy.

The reality of buying furniture in America is that it is expensive. "You get what you paid for" no longer rings true in our age when the price of an item does not always reflect the quality and aesthetics.

This dresser chest looks great. It is functional and can be put together pretty easily with some time and patience. However, do keep in mind that this item is made mostly of pressed wood which cracks easily and can be flimsy. I have put together a lot of furniture in my day, so, although harder than many pieces to put together, it was not altogether impossible.

The challenge is that when you drill or screw into pressed wood, you have a great risk of cracking and insecure screws. When my 8 month old got a hold of the 2nd drawer up, he was able to pull it out and the weight of the drawer as well as his pushing on it (he's 18 pounds) caused the rail on the drawer to rip out and the drawer to come crashing down. In the drawer were 2 pairs of baby shoes and 5 or 6 baby outfits, so it was definitely not overloaded.

I am simply reviewing the quality of this product and the ease of putting it together (I did put it together correctly), so please refrain from personal attacks such as "Why was your baby allowed to touch the dresser?"

If you look at my other reviews here as well as on other sites such as Yelp, you will know that I am a firm believer that being gratuitous with 1-star or 5-star reviews destroys the usefulness of such reviews. However, I must give this item 1 star. It is not because I am lazy, it is not because I am inexperienced, and it is not a result of an emotional situation. This product is simply functional junk.

I do relate to other parents who simply cannot find decent baby furniture they can afford, but I would recommend going used before buying this cheap, overpriced hazard to your baby's life.
