Queen Size Platform Bed in Espresso Bycast Leather

I was looking for a platform bed, with soft edges, and modular headboard. I found the The ModRest Platform Bed online at a select few distributors, but at exorbitant prices (3-5k range). When I saw this on amazon for $500-600, I was skeptical of the quality but I have never been more pleased with a piece of furniture.

It is soft on all edges, with quality craftsmanship. It is a sturdy build. I would recommend two people to assemble to help the dowels meet up at each corner. Another tip do not completely screw in the corner brackets until all pieces are connected it will save you time for adjusting to ensure all angles meet 90 degrees. The bed also comes in several large and heavy boxes, although in very good condition.

The headboard pieces are very sturdy as well, with two heavy metal brackets slotting into the side of the bedframe/mattress. It slots in on any side of the bed, and supports a substantial amount of weight if you're leaning against it to read a book or watch TV.

You can use a box spring in this frame, although, the mattress alone is more attractive.

The color on the pictures looks more like a chocolate brown it's actually really dark espresso as the name suggests.

I'm contemplating purchasing the white version for a guest room. The feet of this bed are well tucked beneath the soft edges, so those of you who are clumsy will LOVE this bed no more sore shins.

Purchasing furniture online without seeing the item has been hit or miss for me, but this is definitely a purchase I am extremely happy with.

I think that the Angry Birds wall decals that we ordered are overall a fun product. They stick okay. On two separate occasions I have had to reapply them to the surface, but I cannot be convined that a six year old is not to blame! My only complaint is that they are first thing that a certain someone sees when he opens his eyes. This is immediately followed with the inevitable begging to play the game on one of our phones. So the battery draining begins...

As soon as I got them my son had to have them put up. He loves them. haven't had any problems with them or the ones I got at target coming off the walls.

The desk looks very nice and it was easy to assemble. It came in two boxes: one containing the desk, and one containing the hutch. The only assembly needed was to screw the legs to the tabletop. The wide drawers are pretty shallow, so don't plan on putting a lot of things in them. The small drawers have no safety stop, so you have to be careful about not pulling them all the way out. Still, the desk is very nice and I'm happy with my purchase.

I just purchased this small writing desk, and I must say, it was well worth the money. Quite a bargain in fact. The color is as others have mentioned, somewhat darker than pictured. Much closer to a cherry finish than oak. Very well packed, and easy to assemble. The only issue I had is that the back cover of the hutch does not go down all the way flush to the top surface of the desk. There is about 1/4" opening. The hutch actually just sits on the top and has not screws or anything that secures it. I think its weight keeps it from moving around. The drawers work well but the two small drawers on the hutch pull out without any stops. Not really a big issue to me. I would definitely recommend this to other buyers.

RoomMates RMK1629GM Over the Rainbow Peel & Stick Giant Wall Decal

My daughter's only request for her new room was a rainbow and she loves it! I didn't use the clouds as I painted those by hand. My one warning is that I peeled the entire sticker off the backing only to have it fold over on itself and it was tough to get it back apart. I would def peel off one side, apply to the wall then peel off the rest if I could do it over again.

Great addition to a child's room. It is very bright and cheerful. I decorated my sons room last year in blue, so I was looking for something a little unusual when I came across this. I put it on the wall and was delighted at how it transformed his room. My only criticism is that the stickers did begin to peel off and I had to apply glue to them after about a week (hence only 4 stars.) Now they are stuck perfectly and just look amazing. They put a smile on my face. I recommend these as the kids love them.

It is easy to put together and to slide your box spring and mattress right in with out struggle. I've had it for over a month and there has yet to be a squeak or creak form this bed frame. Woven Fiber Stool

This stool is actually very attractive if somewhat small. There is a hard piece of plywood under the top so there is no give to the top. I was assuming it would be woven material stretched over a void and thus have some play, but it is hard, Hard, HARD. Legs are rough finished wood with some stain and appear unfinished. I supposed the marketing speak would be "rustic"

Bedford Queen Headboard

Overall not bad for the price, we bought this for one of our kids rooms. The materials were good...most solid wood with a little pressboard. But the finishing was not as good as I would have expected....the seams between sections of wood and the panels varied from being painted over to not being painted over leaving either a smooth solid surface or visible gaps between pieces. Thre first one we received had very visible finishing flaws, so we called the company and they immediately sent us a replacement headboard which was better (but still has some finishing issues). Company was easy to deal with and provided good customer service.

Over all, a good value for the money. Shipping was quick and the product was well protected with packaging. HOWEVER, you'd best be good with a drill because the holes for attaching this to a bed frame did NOT match up with the brand new queen sized bed frame I bought. The assembly was quick and easy until we discovered this problem. Very annoying and hard to understand how the manufacturor could make such a simple mistake that results in such a headache during setup. Would have given it four stars except for this.

I got this to use as a desk chair. The fact that there were no wheels didn't cause a problem, but I realized the chair sits a little high to go all the way under the keyboard drawer part of the desk. I didn't think it was right to take off a star in my rating because it didn't fit like I thought it would. Otherwise, I really like the chair. It's very comfortable to sit in while on the computer, which was a big deal to me. I'd highly recommend the chair.

My son adores this comforter set. He wants to drive the M&M car professionally when he grows up. This set looks as pictured. The comforter, sheets, and pillow cases actually feel soft which I usually don't expect from 'character' bedding. The sheets are just black and white with tire marks and the word NASCAR. That print is a little boring, but my youngest loves the outer cover and pillow cases. Colors on comforter have remained vibrant.

I use this cabinet to hold office supplies etc. I originally ordered it to hold letter sized file folders but the drawers were not quite tall enough and it was so well made and attractive that there was no way I was going to send it back. It is a good height to put a printer on which is how I am also using it. It is more of an ivory color than off-white, the two drawers slide in and out very easily and it is furniture quality. It was packaged very nicely and arrived promptly. Great value for the price.

We bought this bed for my 10 yo son. We wanted a simple, modern bed that would still appeal to him as he got older. We shopped around locally quite a bit, but couldn't find anything we liked for anywhere near this price. There were no reviews on this product, so we were quite nervous about ordering it sight unseen. The bed arrived today. It took 9 days from the time we placed our order until the bed arrived at our door. It was delivered by a moving company (they contacted us to arrange delivery,) so it arrived in perfect condition and came in 4 boxes. The movers put them right inside our front door. I was able to carry the boxes up two flights of stairs myself (it wasn't easy to carry the headboard up alone, but I'm not easily deterred,) and assembled it myself. It took about an hour to put together. The instructions were easy to follow, and it came with all of the hardware required. So far, it seems to be well made, and certainly great quality for that price. I only gave the review 4 stars because we haven't had it long enough to know whether it will last, and also I think the wood finish is darker than it looks in the photo. I would call it more of a honey color, or medium wood finish. To me, it looked like a lighter finish online. But, overall I would recommend this product, and we are very please with it so far.

This bed is great, I purchased 3 of them, the only problem I had was with the shipping company used where I live (R & L). I had to have the last bed send twice, both times the headboard was scratched badly and the people I spoke with didn't care. I asked them to use a different delivery company, they did not so I have a scratched up head board in my garage. But the bed is nice and strong. I would buy the bed again, I need to buy one for my 10 year old daughter but wont because where I live, it will be delivered by the worst delivery company (in my opinion)there is.

Thanks to other Amazon reviewers, I steered away from a variety of DVD towers alleged to be poorly constructed and chose this one.

Good choice!

This Newport DVD Rack is handsome, sturdy, and very quick and easy to assemble. You don't even need tools -an Allen wrench is provided to tighten the two screws that hold the base to the tower.

Really, the only thing I could complain about is wishing this rack held more than forty DVDs, but you can always buy more racks and deploy them in other spots around your video room.

The rack comes in two pieces: the shelving rack and the base. No instructions come with it, but if you can play the game perfection, you can put this together. Not to hard at all. Just put the two provided screws through the base and into the rack to hold it in place. Clean, classy looking stand.

Very pretty and helped replace a rather ugly clip we had for drapes in my little daughter's nursery. Only complaint is that they could have been sturdier...I don't think the issue is longevity, they will probably last for a while. However, these are only good for loosely tying around the drapes and don't bring them together tightly enough...at least for me.
