I bought this couch after searching online for something leather that was affordable. This couch is definitely affordable, has a great shape to it and uses the space well. However, I was really disappointed and confused when the couch arrived in so many boxes; I started unpacking and come to find out it's completely hollow! Every single piece of it had to be assembled, and the assembly was not easy. I'll probably end up taking the back off yet again to try and get it sturdy enough to lean on. The way the couch is assembled seems sturdy for sitting, sleeping, and hanging out but I don't think it would hold up to wear & tear from young children or a lot of people. I would say it's about IKEA quality, maybe a bit less. This is just my opinion, but a couch or sofa would seem much sturdier if the arms, bottom, and back were all one piece. With this one each is its own piece and just doesn't seem as sturdy as a "one-piece" would. The arms and back have a little more give than I like. However, the chaise being a separate piece of furniture is nice for bigger living rooms.Good things about the couch: the color is beautiful! And the ottoman opens up for storage which is really great. It's also pretty comfortable for lounging around. The couch is a great size for a medium living room, and even in a smaller living room I don't think it would look bulky. Overall, I like the couch, just wish it were a little sturdier and you know, not hollow. I'm worried about how it will hold up over time; mostly whether or not it will begin to sag under the cushions.

Disappointments:First, "bonded leather" is vinyl. It has some latex in it, which makes it more "touchable" than a '70s era vinyl couch. But it's still vinyl.
Second, as another reviewer points out, the "sofa" is two pieces. Like a love seat with one arm, and a chaise with one arm. They don't attach in any way. Seems okay on carpet, but I imagine this would be maddening on other flooring types, such as hardwood.
Third, the back is quite low. I'm barely 6', and it feels like I'm sitting on a couch made for kids. (This might be extra comfortable for folks under 5' 5".) Such are the risks of buying furniture online.
Mitigations:
I dissent with the other reviewer's opinion that the construction is difficult or loose. I wonder if he properly threaded the threaded rod into the arms and back. Not really tricky. The quality was sketchy (missing and misaligned holes in the fabric), but it feels solid to me now that it's assembled. The framing is also on the underbuilt side. I'm skeptical that it's going to stand up to daily use.
Conclusion:
Might work for a seldom-used basement bar or something, but not really an especially good buy in any case.First of all, THANK YOU Amazon for fast shipping. The company that delivered the couch was CEVA, and they missed us the first time, but came back next day, great customer service.
The couch was easy to assemble, less than two hours if done by one person. The color is pretty and I liked the cushions. The chaise separates from the rest of the couch, but it can be fixed easily, little DIY project. The only downside I see so far is that the couch is light and moves around easily on wooden floor.
Overall, I am satisfied. If you are on the budget, and not looking for anything chic, that might be a good choice.Attractive piece of furniture as images depict on the site. The item is easy to assemble and took about one hour. The couch was not shipped on the day that the site claimed i would receive it, and according to pilot(the shipping company used) the late delivery's are a continuing issue, so don't get all excited and wait by the window .
