I bought this item directly from Ikea to match my Ikea (Malm) bed. I only bought one at the time, but will be getting another. But, I will be buying it from Ikea. I do have to point out, that this product, if purchased from Ikea, is only $49. Yes, $49. I'm not sure how this company is able to sell this $49 item for $75, unless it includes shipping...Oh, wait, shipping is an additional $29. So... $104 for a $49 item that can be purchased new from Ikea directly. Good scam.

My wife bought two of these to hang on the wall next to our bed. She looked at this product only and none of the related items. She saw the night stand as a very good looking hanging nightstand for the wall by reading the description. She wanted a nightstand to hang on the wall so we can vacuum underneath it with no problems.When they arrived we came to realize that the nightstand is designed to be attached to the Ikea Malm Black-brown Queen Size Bed Frame Height Adjustable. The product description does not say "requires" the bed, but just that it "fits" the bed. There are no brackets or instructions on how to just hang the thing to the wall without the bed for it to attach to (per the instructions). So I have two rather small screw holes in the back to work with in rigging something up to hang it on our wall. I feel pretty confident I can jury up something to make it work.
I will say the instructions were surprisingly good considering it never used a single sentence during construction.
The material seems pretty sturdy and durable considering it is MDF. My wife's idea of jury rigging was using the two screw holes to run picture wire between and then she hung it on the wall. It is amazingly still hanging but I wouldn't put a full glass of water on it...
