This quilt is well made and for the price very good quality. It is not, however, made for a king size bed. It barely hangs over the edge so the sheets and box springs would still show. Also, the shams are standard, not king. I ended up using this quilt in our guest room on the queen size bed and the shams became covers for our throw pillows in our den. It is a very pretty quilt and holds up well to washing, I just prefer something that reached beyond the edge of my mattress on top.
