After reading the instructions, this product was easy to apply to my wall! And for those of you who worry about having a textured wall, mine is "orange peel" (small, bumpy flecks in the drywall), and that didn't hinder the application at all. It stuck perfectly and looks beautiful! I especially love the matte finish. The seller was VERY prompt and helpful. To make the application more interesting, I cut the words apart and arranged them around a big picture frame that holds all our family's special moments (wedding day and newborn photos of our kids). Bought this for my bedroom and it's really pretty but was really hard to get it to stick to the wall. The only downfall was when putting it up, some of the letters got messed up because you really have to rub it hard to get it to stick. I had to use an old credit card which helped me to install letter by letter. Need at least 2-3 people to put this up.

I bought this fan for my living room. I wanted something that would blend into the ceiling because the other colors and lights in the living room were already "obvious". I'm using this with the white side of the blades down and a 3-speed in-wall control with no light kit and no chains hanging down from the fan.

The fan is fantastic--I've had it for about 4 months and it's completely silent, even on the high setting. It has no hint of wobble and mounts relatively close to the ceiling, unlike some other fans that have a bit more of a drop rod.

I bought 5 new ceiling fans this year, so I have something to compare this too and I love this fan, especially for the low price.

I own several Hunter fans throughout my home, in Florida, where they rarely get turned off. Several of them are 20 yrs. old or more. And they are as quiet as the day they were new. And this one is just the same. Simple installation, quiet running, moves the air, and I am sure, will be as dependable as the rest. I bought this fan to replace a perfectly quiet, perfectly working living room ceiling fan, because I wanted a white fan to go with the white and light decor of my newly purchased condo, and not the brown of the existing fan. I went with the Hunter fan because of its excellent reputation and the amazingly high percentage of five-star reviews for this specific fan. I have ordered a lot recently through Amazon, and in every other case I have used the free super saver shipping. In this case, because I was only going to be at the condo from May 21-24 and this was for me a "last-minute" purchase, made a week before I would be there, I paid extra for the 2-3 business day shipping.

I have two complaints about this fan. The first is that I ordered it with the accompanying downrod, at the same time, and so I expected them to be shipped together. Well, first of all, items I ordered from Amazon a day later with super saver shipping, for which there is a standard 5-8 business day shipping period, not 2-3 days, shipped BEFORE these items did. I have had great experiences with super saver shipping. This was my first use of expedited shipping, and I was disappointed. Second, it had never occurred to me that the downrod might be shipped separately from the fan itself. But that's what happened. I was notified the fan would arrive by May 22 but the downrod only on May 24, the last day I would be at the condo. So I was not happy. As it happened, the downrod arrived on May 23, but it still caused me undue anxiety. And the downrod arrived via USPS, whereas the fan came via UPS. Made no sense to me.

The second complaint is about the fan itself. My electrician installed it late on May 23 and then left. He had just installed 15 Hunter fans somewhere else that day. He praised this fan as excellent and sturdy and easy to install. However, after he left, I turned the fan up to full speed, and lo and behold, it started swaying and knocking. I could only run it at half-speed quietly. My electrician returned the next day. He used all the included light balances, but it still knocked. He finally put what is called a "clothespin" balance on one of the five fan blades. That did the trick, so now the fan runs quietly with very little sway at the highest speed. But my electrician, who has installed many Hunter fans, said this was the worst swaying he had ever seen in a Hunter fan. And I find the "clothespin" mars the clean aesthetics of the blades, even though it solved the problem. Maybe I just got that rare lemon--it happens. But I have a tenant in the condo as of now, so removing and retuning the fan would be a very disruptive experience, for me and the tenant. So I have ended up disappointed that my experience was not like so many other reviewers for this fan.

Need a bed frame? Concerned this frame is Cheap Quality? Concerned its not tall enough? I purchased this frame "blind" with all those concerns,and only had seen one fair "review". When I purchased this frame it was about $65.00 and it shipped free. It took 9 days to arrive via UPS. I think that was quick considering the local furniture store wanted more than 2x the money and the local guys frame did not have rollers, and I had to drive it home. This frame is great quality considering it's a bed frame. The metal construction is quality. The pins and parts are all sturdy. The rollers (2) have locks. It is plenty strong with no sway (I'm not little nor is my Lady)and we have a king size bed. It is not low to the floor in fact 6-3/4 inch clearance for under bed storage. I think this frame was worth at least $100.00. So if you need a bed frame and do not want to get ripped off locally, buy this one today.

Frame is priced right and is easy to assemble. However, the center support has plastic feet instead of wheels and one of the feet that came with ours arrived cracked. These feet don't fit very well but even with a crack, they work okay. This frame is quite stable and eliminated the sag our box spring was experiencing with our old frame, which had no center support. For the money, this frame is a good deal. If the support would have come with wheels matching the frame rails, it would have gotten five stars.

This was so easy to assemble! We had it done in 10mins!! Our queen mattress and headboard did hang out at the end but this hasn't bothered in any way, everything stays put. Very satisfied.

My only comment would be that it would seem to be a bit short for a King. As it is with my Queen, the end of the bed hangs off the end of the frame about 8" or so. This may be by design to help avoid those pesky toe-stubs in the middle of the night. Does not seem to affect stability.

This vinyl verses worked out great. It was the perfect size. I have worked with vinyl many times where I work so this was an easy application for me but if you are new to vinyl applications here are a few tips. First create a level line at the top of the paper/transfer paper. . .to do this measure up from lettering in several places to get an accurate line. then cut the paper/transfer paper (all layers). From this line you can now have a level line to follow for application. Draw a line in pencil where the top of the transfer paper should line up with. Start from the top edge and line it up while removing the paper from the transfer paper from the top down. then your top line will be perfectly placed and you can pull the paper off in a downward motion. Use a plastic spatula to gently but firmly rub the vinyl onto the wall then remove the transfer paper slowly. If any letters begin to come up with the paper use the spatula to rub it onto the wall some more.

These vinyl things rock but they suck when trying to stick to textured walls. They tend to not be very sticky, but I know it's the texture in the walls that it can't adhere good enough.

ORE Furniture International 4-Panel Room Divider

I ordered the Polaris shoji screen from Legacy Decors in cherry. It came pre-assembled, packed tightly in a strong, but unpadded box. It arrived in near perfect condition, with two tiny dents in the wood--nothing bad enough to merit a return.

The four panels are connected by lightweight, yet sturdy, screwed hinges that leave ~1-cm spaces between the panels when opened to their widest standing position. It opens as wide as 68 inches across while standing on its own (that's wider than pictured). It can be stored upright in floor space as small as 17x8 inches without having to lean it on anything. At 13 lbs, the screen can be moved and carried with ease.

I doubt it would withstand being banged around too much without getting damaged, but seems solid enough for its intended use. Definitely one of the best buys I made this year.

Overall, I like this screen. After searching and searching, the price isn't bad. It was just under $90 with shipping and I didn't want to spend hundreds on a relatively insignificant part of my decor.

QUALITY:

The screen material is definitely synthetic, it's meshy kind of like the backing material you'd use for embroidery. It does feel cheap, but I won't be handling the screen very often, so I don't mind that.

The wood is very evenly stained, but it had a slight woody/stain smell to it that has seemed to dissipate after a few days.

The hinges this is part 1 of why it's only 4 stars instead of 5 the hinges were unevenly screwed in (the screws were poking out at different lengths, not plumb at all. I was able to fix this with Phillips and it seems to help. The other issue with the hinges is that the center panels seem to be not as well aligned with the outer panels and it makes the center pretty wobbly. I could probably unscrew the hinges and reassemble it, but it's not worth the time to do that. It DOES stand on its own plus I was able to brace it against a book case and that's helped, but I wouldn't put it in any high traffic area unless you have some kind of support. The unevenness was especially noticeable because of my hardwood floors.

LOOK:

The cherry is a little brighter red than the photos portray, but it adds a nice warm color to the room of dark browns, reds, oranges and gray-blues.

The screens look great with lighting behind them and the material doesn't look as cheap as it feels.

From even a short distance, it looks great and gives the right amount of partition I needed as well as blocks the wind from the opening door.

My roommate likes it so much that she wants to order a second one for the living room (she's a fashion editor and our apartment is very well decorated).

FUNCTIONALITY:

Like I mentioned, the center panels are a bit wobbly. My other issue is that the gaps between the panels are bigger than I'd like (part 2 of the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), BUT it still lends to enough privacy to change behind it or block the wind from the door opening (again, as long as you have something lending it some structure).

I was trying to decide between this and the 3-panel one and I'm definitely GLAD I went with this one. If there was a 5 panel, it would be even better. The 4-panel won't quite hide an entire Queen Size bed, but it will hide most of it and give you the partition you want.

SHIPPING:

It was here something close to 5 days earlier than it was promised. VERY impressed with that. It had no scratches, the box was very well back and used minimal space. I couldn't be happier. I would prefer it if they offered free shipping (I'd buy 2 or 3 screens instead of just one), but it was manageable.

The cherry wood is beautiful and I have received several compliments from my friends. The panel is sturdy and well-built without being overly heavy. I have a very large living room area and I purchassed the room divider to create a space at the back for a sewing area without putting up a permanent wall. The room divider is really beautiful and I get a lot of compliments on it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the panels aren't stable unless you put the divider in a short zigzag. I was expecting a longer divider given it is 4 panels. I have made it work for me and I like the mobility you get with these screens.

I did a lot of research on the entire set and was under the impression that the two chairs were included in the price advertised on the page. The product title reads "Powell Basil Antique Brown Dining Side Chair with 2-Piece in 1-Carton" which lead me to believe that I was getting two chairs, however that was not the case. Pay attention to this and make sure that you order the number that you need. The quality was average with some spots that were roughly welded together. There were several scratches on the metal and some hardware was missing, which could be easily bought, but still inconvenient. The items are still pretty cute and the desisn is beautiful, my main complaint rests with the false advertisement.

I purchased the 4 chairs to match the table base. They look great. There are 2 chairs in one box, i had to clarify that with Amazon. I did put these together, but as mentioned in other reviews some of the holes don't match so you made need a little muscle or a drill to make it work. otherwise very nice and unique look.

Very easy to put together, as was the table. everything looks nice and is well made. I only have one issue with this and it seems to be universal to pretapped holes I stripped a couple of them out. Be careful and use locktite. you will be glad you did in the future as this type of construction always seems to loosen screws and strip out the holes.

The chairs are nice quality, heavy, durable, and unique. However, the curved rod that holds the seat to the back leg was not exactly aligned on one side of each chair and the screws that were supplied would not fit. Luckily, my husband purchased two longer screws and he was able to make them fit. Not an easy fix as the screws have to be the right color and the EXACT diameter and length to work.

I'm not too happy with the quality of this piece.

The good: The vinyl holds up really well and looks great.

The bad: The underpart is flimsy and tore off while I was moving it. In a pinch, you could use this for sleeping, but your guests will NOT thank you for it. Also, the legs are very wobbly and came use after moving it.

The ugly: When the futon is up, the ledge that is in the back is also very thin. My teeny tiny cat hopped up on it, fell through, and now there is a hole in the material. Looks bad.

It would be out on the curb already but I can't move it myself. Not happy.

I am happy with the product and the quickness of delivery. However, I did not read carefully the shipping policy and was very surprised that freight carrier was contracted to deliver the 6 sofa's curbside.

Pleasantly surprised. I ordered this pub table to put in an eat-in kitchen with 4 30" barstools. The product arrived before the estimated time and looks much more expensive than the price. The detail is beautiful and it is very easy to put together. If you want quality merchandise without the high price tag, this is the table for you. When it is not being used for eating, it is a great area to gather for conversation or play cards.

I had been looking for a table this size for months and months. I was ready to have one made, but took one last look on amazon. This table met the specifications that I needed, but I wasn't hopeful about the quality, based on the price. Well, it arrived yesterday and my husband and I still can't believe how nice it is. This is the first time that we have ever received an item that is actually better in life, than it appears in a picture. The table is solid, sturdy, and much prettier than shown. The top view (in oak) has different shades of wood on the triangles, so it looks like a wooden game table, and the beading on it is noticably plump and round (not flat or squared). There are two very small sections of beading that have slight blemishes, but they are only noticable if you are inspecting the table carefully. The table arrived very well-packaged in separate parts (top, center stem, and 4 legs) which my husband was able to put together quite easily. We don't expect much from furniture these days, unless we pay a ridiculous amount of money, and we usually breakdown and end up dishing out too much money just to get a decent-quality item. This table is a win-win in that it is inexpensive and surprisingly decent. It definitely looks like its worth more than we paid. We would definitely recommend it.

DecoMates Non-Ticking Silent Wall Clock

As someone who can't stand to sit or sleep in rooms with ticking clocks, I have always been unwilling (if not flat-out unable) to buy analog clocks even though I find them much more aesthetically pleasing than digital clocks. Therefore, I was absolutely ELATED to discover the sweeping hand clock. I was cautiously optimistic to buy this clock, just sure that it would make SOME type of humming or buzzing noise, but when I installed the battery, hung it on the wall, and sat back to listen, I was thrilled to hear NOTHING!!! It is absolutely SILENT and in a word, PERFECT. The black numbers on the white face make it easy to read at a distance, and I'm able to sit and sleep in the same room with this clock without wanting to throw it out a window. This is the only type of clock I will own. I found the price VERY reasonable, if not for the clock itself, then for the joy of having an analog clock that doesn't tick. Well worth the twenty-something dollars I paid. I would pay it all over again and look forward to purchasing more sweeping hand clocks for other rooms in my house.

Seems like pretty durable plastic, it *might* survive a drop.

Silent, non-ticking, very smooth action on the seconds hand.

The black numbers are easy to see, which was a complaint I saw with similar white numbered non-ticking clocks.

No real cons so far.

But if I have to complain about something... the clock is smaller than I expected. I should have been paying more attention to the advertised size of 8.25 x 8.25 x 1.7 inches which is accurate.

The kiddo likes the color and that it doesn't sound like the "old people" clock we have in the living room.

I contacted the seller and explained the situation and asked them to replace the clock once I believe it was defective, the response I got was that they could offer a 15% discount in my next purchase, then I replied saying that no way I would buy another clock taking the risk of the same problem happen again. The clock was nice, but for the price I was expecting more, how a $35 clock should last only 5 months? Fashion Bed Group Newport Headboard

This headboard is decent quality, very pretty, and inexpensive. It was relatively simple to assemble and makes the bedroom more attractive than just a bare bed. It it is worth the price.

The only negative is that the the legs are too short and when the bed is attached, the headboard is hidden behind the mattress especially because our mattress is a thicker type. We had to attach it to the bed frame very low on the headboard to raise it to the proper height, so that now the legs don't actually touch the floor in order for the headboard to be taller than the mattress. It is OK, but not as sturdy as I would have liked it. I figure it would have added about $5.00 to the price for the manufacturer to extend the legs to be tall enough. As it is, we will have to get some 5" or 6" wood blocks from Home Depot and glue them to the bottom if we want the bed to be solid and stable. We were kind of disappointed about that. However, it is an easy and inexpensive fix, and the finished product does not show the flaw at all.

Otherwise, it is a nice, inexpensive and easy way to spruce up a bare bedroom and make it look finished and furnished.

The back of the headboard comes with two stickers glued on the finish. I have never had stickers that were so difficult to remove. Even then, there was a residue of glue that did not come off. Since this type of sticker is completely unnecessary, I would not only not recommend this item, I would be reluctant to buy anything from the company

I chose this set for my son who is nearly 2 because I loved the colors. I love this bedding. It is so soft, perfect for little childrens skin! It is also warm. I have to buy the rest of the stuff seperate as the larger size bedding only comes with the comforter and pillow shams, so it's bound to get expensive, but the quality seems good so I think it will last a very long time.

Little Tikes Sports Car Twin Bed (Blue)

After our 2 year old son learned to climb out of his crib, he wouldn't sleep in his room at all...until we bought him this bed! The side are high enough that he can't roll out and he just thought it was so great he had to tell everyone about his new carbed. There are a few things to keep in mind when buying it though. One is the size. It is a large bed so make sure you have room for it. The second is that there is about 1 1/2" space between the mattress and the bed (for the comforter to fit) and I have found quite a few toys (and other items) down there. We did have a little problem with one wheel staying on and I contacted Little Tykes. They were great and shipped a replacement part to us that came a lot quicker than I thought. But the wheels are only held on by a screw so you have to make sure kids don't pull or climb on the wheels or they will probably come off.

We bought this bed for my son when he was 20 months old and I was pregnant with child #2. He loves it! He loves anything with wheels so we had no trouble moving him from the crib in the nursery to his big boy room complete with car bed (and truck wallpaper border of course!). What I like most about the bed is that the sides are higher than the mattress so that he can't roll out and we don't need a railing. If you feel that you need more of a side I have even seen people take out the box springs so that the mattress is enclosed on all sides. And of course, just like the rest of Little Tikes products, it is very durable. Well worth the money!

My 3 year old loves this bed and finally sleeps though the night! However, it uses a standard size twin mattress (38"wide x 75"long which creates a 4-inch gap along one side or 2-inch gap on both sides. My son gets his arms and legs stuck along the sides and if you put it on one side, his whole body would fit through the gap! I am very disappointed that this product does not fit the mattress as stated.

My son just loves this bed. I never had to worry about him falling out of it. It is extremely sturdy and after 5 years is still in mint condition. I would recommend this to anyone with a small child.

For the price, I was quite disappointed with the bed we received. The hardware did not properly attach the bed sides to the ends, beasue the bolt holes had been installed incorrectly. The decorative wheels are flimsy, and with a good pull will come off and are not reattachable. The photo gave me the impression that the car would be made from smooth material and resemble a "real" car, but instead it is constructed of the "pebbled" plastic common to most Little Tikes outdoor toys. But my son has seen it, and I am not willing to send it back I've had enough aggravation for one day! But you, dear reader -If you are shopping for a bed for your little boy, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I really wanted a fairly simple wood frame (not laminate) for a fun letterpress print I found. Unfortunately, the size required a custom frame. I visited many shops for estimates and all quoted me more than I really wanted to spend. I saw this frame and figured that if it was terrible, I didn't spend a lot and I had still supported a fairly local (to me) business (Craig Frames is in Michigan). The frame arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. The wood is gorgeous and exactly what I was hoping for. The description of "rich gold" had given me pause, but the photo color is true. The wood is a nice mid brown color, not too dark or too light. Yes, it comes with styrene instead of glass, though you can also upgrade to acrylic. Personally, I'm going to a place around to corner to purchase some glass with UV protection. It's really not expensive to buy on its ownunder $10 in many casesbut is very expensive to ship. Also, you have to install the hanging hardware yourself, but it's very easy. I'm recovering from multiple arm/hand surgeries on my dominant side, and it was still no trouble. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Storage Headboard

I bought this headboard because I have limited space in my bedroom. It was very easy to put together with a partner and looks great; I have gotten a lot of compliments from friends and family. Three things to note: be careful when placing screws in top piece as they will go through and you'll end up with ugly bumps in the finish; there are no holes cut for electrical cords so you'll have to cut your own; and you need to have the screws that came with your bedframe to attach the headboard (no hardware is provided for this). Otherwise, its a nice piece of furniture and I'm very glad I bought it.

The product arrived very shortly after placing the order. It was easy to esemble although the pieces are not labeled and the directions are slightly poor. The problem is that I bought the matching bed with 12 drawers and it covers the bottom part of the headboard where the picture frames are shown in the above photo. Maybe it is because I used a real mattress, not with box spring, instead of a thin memory foam matteress.

This product was pretty easy to assemble even though the pieces are not marked. The workmanship of material is terrible. Scratches and nicks on every piece. A few of the dowel holes had plastic tips broke off so they were inoperable. Even the back paneling was damaged. In the end I wouldn't recommend this to others. Too much damge in the material. Doesn't look new. Looks like someone had purchased it beforeseen all the damage-repackaged it and then sent to me :(

I really like my headboard. The directions could have been a little bit better. I would not have been able to do it myself so my 16 year-old grandson put it together and should have used a rubber mallet at one point as a regular hammer put a hole in one of the boards. I was watching him and it wasn't his fault. We filled it in and colored it so it is not obvious. It has floor protectors already on it which is always my concern since I have hardwood floors.
