South Shore Sweet Morning Twin Bed, Royal Cherry

I purchased this bed for my 4yr old grandson. My daughter and her husband put it together. She said the bed arrived earlier than expected. All the pieces arrived in perfect order. The only issue was the directions. While the pictures aren't usually a problem, these were. They don't tell you to turn the pieces around and a few parts are mislabeled on the pictures. Also, the wooden pieces are thick and its a little difficult to get the screws in. Other than that, the bed is fine. It only took about an hour to put it together. It looks good in the room and he loves it.

I got this for my two year old son and he absolutely loves his big boy bed it looks beautiful when its all put together it does scratch easy but then send a marker with it and you can't even tell its scratched after using that it is low to the ground and very easy to put together I bought the entire set and it looks very nice all put together. For the price it is very sturdy and seems like it will hold up against my little monster of a child. I would definately recommend this set to others

This product has very sharp edges. We purchased 2 beds for our Twin boys and have to lay blankets between the wood and the mattress to prevent them from scratching themselves. Very disappointed.

We purchased 2 twin beds, a dresser and a nightstand all in this "sweet mornings" set. It looks very nice all put together -the pictures are accurate. I wasn't exactly expecting that the frame of the bed is a little bigger than the standard twin mattress but I guess that's so that you can fit all the bedding and stuff (but even then, there seems to be a little gap ... so you can picture it, I'd say without bedding, perhaps 4 inches "too long"). It's not enough for me to dislike the bed, but just a heads up so that when you put your mattress on top, you don't think you have the wrong size mattress or something (like I did).

Also, once you get a hang of putting this furniture together, it's not too bad but it does take quite a bit of time and the bed (& dresser) is heavy.

It does seem like it might be prone to scratches but so far (about a month in) haven't had any big problems (and it comes with a marker to color in any scratches).

I'm happy with the purchase.
