LexMod Turbo Mid Back Padded Office Computer Chair in Black Vinyl

After searching several days, found this cute little chair on sale from $380.00 to $59.00. Hard to believe right? Still is while I'm sitting here in it. I've seen better made, stronger chairs at other stores for $59.00. I guess the idea this was once $380.00, and there was only one review so it gave my mind a lapse of common sense, so I ordered it. The back is so straight up, and it does not sway even a little I'm 5'10" and have it as high as it will go, I could use higher seated position being a long legged female. Mid back padded, be sure to be completely flat in your back, or you will never touch the Padding! So I've been sitting in it an hour. I do not like it, at all. Probably taking it apart in a while to return. I would love to know the correct number of people who paid $380.00 for this pitiful thing and actually, truly love it.

I am editing my review about this chair that I kept, due to a knee problem that makes it difficult to get out much, to even mail the thing back. Decided to edit and add extra comment to help others to really think before buying this chair. I wasted $59.00 on it! It's not worth 59 cents. I wrote to the seller, when I realized two casters were shredding and falling apart, I guess weighing between 145 and 150 lbs. is just too much for this 'chair'. Seller sent me two replacement casters. No charge, great! Even though two other casters were shredding after that, I took 5 casters off another chair and put on this chair. This past Monday, I was tired of the seat wobbling where seat it attached to the base. My back was hurting so bad, fighting this chair for months. I went and brought out the chair I bought at a goodwill store for $10.00. Which is better made, top to bottom than this one from Lex Mod. I started to take it apart, to notice the bottom of the back cushion was tearing already, oh lawdy! Now the seller is still using the once was a $380.00 price tag chair {no it wasnt} and wants $70. something today! Please look for a well made chair thats actually worth the price listed on it. As other reviewer wrote you feel you're leaning forward in this chair, and you are. Oh, on the left arm also, the screws are coming loose, I guess from the wobbling. Anyway, its in the bedroom, I'll take the stuffing out and make the most expensive pillow I ever made! Dont buy this chair. The seller is not a good seller, with the farce of it was once $380.00!! lol, sure it was. Enjoy my money honey, it will be all you ever get from me being ignorant! It wont happen twice!

So, this chair was incredibly appealing to me. Some crazy high price slashed to a low, low price, roughly 1/6th of what it originally costs? Man, that means I was going to get an amazing chair for a steal, right?

Well, sure. Maybe if you weigh less than 150 lbs. And don't lean back too much. And very gingerly sit down in the chair. And don't roll it around all that much.

What I'm trying to say is this chair broke all of three days after I got it. The cheap, brittle plastic on one of the arm connectors was the first to go. Then it was the cheap, brittle plastic on the chair wheels that broke when I sat down without due ginger, gentle diligence, snapping off one the wheels and leaving the chair lopsided. Then it was the cheap, brittle plastic on the other arm connector that broke, at which point the entire back of the chair literally fell off. I tried using industrial-strength plastic epoxy to fix it... it worked, until another part of the chair broke. Guess what? It was the wait for it cheap, brittle plastic that broke again.

I guess I should have been suspicious when the company that sells this chair started sending me e-mails asking me to send any criticisms of the chair to them before writing a review no more than two days after I bought the chair. Oh, well. Hindsight and all that.

If you are working at your computer desk, this product will make you feel like you are leaning forward. I must say it beats the tar out of utilizing a kitchen chair, and I was completely happy, not to have to pay $100.00 or over to obtain one. But I think I may just shop on CL next time.
