The kids just keep getting bigger, and my guy really needed something new. But I didn't want to get him anything expensive, because he's a young boy and prone to breaking things. Better to not tempt him. This headboard was SO easy to put together. I had him help (great bonding!) and it went super fast. Love the magazine holders on the front (they also fit slim paperbacks) and the cord slot in the back of the main compartment. Very sturdy and looks great in his now updated room.

This whole collection is wonderful! We bought the bed, headboard, dresser, chest of drawers, nightstand and TV stand. My 13 y.o. grandson put every piece together by himself and he loves it. Easy to read instructions. The wood is thick. Arrived very well packaged with heavy cardboard covering the corners. The tops are a darker gray than pictured.....just wish it was a lighter shade...it almost looks black. It has 2 shelves on each side which is a bit awkward to reach into from the bed but all in all it's great. But it sure makes a beautiful room!great value for what it is. Not top end quality, but it is worth the price. Well Amazon wouldn't let me put my last review! This item came damaged and torn and scratched, they would not let me return and I am stuck with this item and the others from this set! Spent over a thousand on all this furniture that I am now stuck with, and it belongs in the trash! I do not recommend you buy this item or any of the South Shore set.Save 15% Off
