Serta Redbud Micro Fiber Futon Mattress

I've only had this mattress for a week now, but already I want to sleep on it more than in my normal bed! It's extremely comfortable--a bit on the firm side--and doesn't need to be left out to "inflate" like some futon mattresses. (Makes sense, being that it has springs and all.) The microfiber material is also much softer than my last mattress.

I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Purchased this several months ago after my previous futon mattress had been worn down after 10+ years. After some looking around, decided to purchase this mattress due to, among other things, the additional foam layer and the mattress' thickness (9"). The foam was appealing because I figured it would give the mattress a nice soft cushion that would allow you to melt into it when sitting, while I assumed that the thickness would give the mattress a bit more durability and staying power.

After a couple months, have to say that I'm very pleased with this purchase. The mattress is a little bit firmer than your typical sofa cushion, but it's still more than soft enough for me. If you're in the market for a futon mattress, can't go wrong with this one, in my opinion.
