The box arrived with one end smashed, so there were a few chips and dents in some of the wood. I couldn't be bothered to return it, so I filled in the chips with a furniture crayon. The directions were a bit confusing at times, but I was able to figure it out. Some of the holes were drilled a bit off, which resulted in the drawers being slightly crooked and the wood splitting in a few places. Also, the back of the ottoman isn't very pretty, as if it was meant to be put against a wall. It seems to me that the support beam could've been designed to go on the inside where it wouldn't be visible. Also, this ottoman feels weak when I move it, as if it might fall apart if I'm not careful. As ottomans go, it's also a little too tall, but the dimensions are mentioned in the product description so that's my own fault.
It is comfortable to sit on and put your feet on. It's also nice looking when you're in front of it. I have a feeling I'll need to replace this in the next few months for the reasons I mentioned above. It's not a terrible piece of furniture, but it's not what I was looking for.The instructions could be better, but once this bench was finally constructed I love it! I would definitely recommend this one.
