White Metal Coat & Hat Rack with Marble Base

I purchased this for the bedroom to hold clothes, mainly T-shirts and shirts. I liked the large balls because they would reduce the problem of stretching the fabric. The plastic brass balls look rather cheesy to me, but then, I'm hanging T-shirts, so who's cheesy?

The set of hooks that point at right angles to the post did not hold clothes well, so I bent them up at a slight angle, which greatly improved their effectiveness. Certain pants still don't hang well on the large balls, but the balls can be removed and the bare posts can hold a belt loop. The bottom set of hooks, apparently for shoes?, are rather useless to me and got in the way of pants hanging down, so I removed them.

The base is nice and heavy, apparently made of a marble composite material. The swivel is handy.

For a more elegant coat rack, I purchased the Oak Finish Hardwood Coat Rack By Acme Furniture, which I really like. In fact, it probably would have worked better in the bedroom, having pegs that would hold pants (by the beltloop).(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IUZG8C/ref=oss_product).

I ordered this Item two years ago and I just ordered it again. It is excellent product. It is strong enough to hold many coats, jackets and hand bags on it. The design, the color, the marble base, the price make this product worth buying.

The coat tree came quickly and was very easy to assemble. There was a weird pink mark on the marble base, but it was easy to remove with some toothpaste and a scrubber. It was very easy assembly and I love the tree so far. I use it for my purses, hats and scarfs.

This is the most functional coat and hat tree I have ever seen. I had been looking for one that combined quality and functionality at an affordable price, and finally found it. The base is marble; giving it stability with even heavy purses hanging from its hooks. The hooks are capped with golden plastic spheres; giving this rack a touch of elegance. It looks very classy in my bedroom. It did not take me long to assemble it. All the parts arrived. The only unusual item that arrived with my rack was an extra marble plate. The extra marble base arrived in three pieces. When I noticed it was broken, I put it back in its box to return it; just to discover that there was another marble base in another flat box, just like the first I opened. Other than that, the order arrived complete and in five days. I am very happy with this purchase.
