South Shore Trinity Collection Headboard Mocha, Full/Queen

I liked the pictures online, and I was pleased with it. A little tricky to put together, but very nice when complete. It's quite small, as expected, but its wide enough to pop my cellphone on the second little shelf or on top. Not damaged in transit.

The headboard met my needs. The quality of the product was slightly lacking. The milling on many of the parts was somewhat off, which made the assembly more difficult.

A good little headboard, but you get what you pay for. We were looking for something pretty and cheap for temporary use in staging a room. It works for us, but I might not recommend for permanent use and certainly not if the bed will be getting *ahem* "active" use. Easy to assemble, but my husband mentioned that it didn't include some of the hardware to attach the headboard to the metal bed frame.

I was initially concerned as the package was delivered with one end crunched in a bit, but after opening it all up I found all the pieces were actually well-protected and without damage.

As other reviewers noted, it's pretty easy to put together, in fact, by taking my time I managed to get it put together with a splint on my leg. Fortunately, none of the installation hardware was missing and everything lined up nearly perfectly. Note that it doesn't come with the hardware to mount the headboard to a metal frame, nor does it specify the size of the nuts and bolts (just shows a picture), so you'll need to figure that out on your own if necessary. It does comes with screws to mount the headboard to the compatible South Shore bed frame though.

Once it was all together, it does seem a tad flimsy, but I guess what do you expect with mass-produced particle board and a do-it-yourself kit. Despite that, this headboard looked pretty nice once lined up behind our bed.

I'd recommend this if you're on a budget and just looking for a headboard to enhance a standard metal bed frame.

1/4"-20x1.5 bolts work just fine for attaching this headboard to a metal frame.
