Powell "Woodbury Mahogany" Bed Step with Storage

I ordered these because my bed is extra high and it was hard to climb into it every night. The steps are just what I wanted and were easy to assemble. You do have to have a very short handled screwdriver to get to some of the holes. The steps are very sturdy though once they are put together. I do have hard wood floors and they are a little slippery, but some rubber circles under each "leg" stopped that problem easily. I would highly recommend these steps.

Needs a lot of assembly, it's solid, heavy and sturdy, but I really do not like how it looks now that I have it. For $121 I think you can buy better alternatives, the storage space is a joke, the box is narrow and tall, so I don't know what you can really store there. Slippery surface.

I chose this much more expensive set of steps because the top step is a full-size step. Less expensive steps short change (no pun intended) the top step making that first step out of bed or bath the most precarious. The storage compartment is perfect for storing bath salt packets and extra wash cloths.

Assembly was easy, steps are sturdy and the quality is everything I've come to expect from Powell furniture.

I purchased this item in October but just opened it now. I will not make that mistake again. Part of one of the wooden appliques is broken and the return period has expired. Otherwise, the product looks and feels sturdy.
