The background color of these drapes are natural or off white. The flower print is a wine red. The quality of the fabric and workmanship is excellent. The measurement of our patio doors was smaller than the 144", but the drapes still look beautiful. I don't need to reduce the width. A little light filters through as the background color is light, but it looks cheery unlike the dark drapes we had before. (This is nice when blocking the hot sun, but still desiring some light.)

In the picture it looks like it has so much color in it when in fact it only has very thin lines making a pattern. It wasn't what I expected and was very disappointed. Plus they look like curtains you'd find in a hotel room. For the price I expected a lot better. On the flip side they are very heavy and will keep the cold out and do darken the room.

We are very happy with this purchase. We use these curtains to cover up a couple of open cubbies in our apartment which we converted into shirt closets. The design is very pleasing and the fabric is very durable. They are made of a more rigid fabric in case you are thinking of draping them in some way. They will probably not look good with sashes as the fabric will not flow.
