Be aware that this rug is hand looped, not tufted. We were unable to keep it because we have pets and children, and the loops pulled out. The colors are beautiful, and somewhat brighter than shown, as the previous commenter mentioned. It also had a slightly strange smell to it, which I had not noticed on other wool rugs we have looked at, but not overwhelming.

Although the colors are a little brighter than shown, it's a beautiful rug and I was so happy it arrived so quickly.
