First, this comforter set isn't burgundy, not even a little. It's a deep, gorgeous RED, which is precisely what I wanted. Could not be happier with the look or the overall style--from that standpoint, it's a worthwhile set. The throw pillows are a nice addition, though you might find that much red and black to be overkill.Where I have issues with this set is with the actual comforter filling. The filling is relatively thin and tends to bunch unattractively. Given that this isn't a highly expensive set, you can't reasonably expect the best quality stuffing, but I will say I'm disappointed in that the stuffing bunches badly and makes your comforter a bumpy mess, even if you don't make a habit of spending time ON the comforter itself.
It was a good buy, looks great in my bedroom, and is a very nice choice if you're going for an Asian-inspired feeling in your bedroom.

I am glad that we opted for the queen size because the queen size barely fits my sisters full size bed! I think it is very cheaply made but she loves it so I am not worried about that so much. The bed skirt, comforter, and pillow shams were SOOOO wrinkled and made it look shabby and not shabby chic! I would have liked a better made product for this amount but its ok! We learn from our mistakes!I purchased this for my sister's bedroom because she loves Asian things. This is NOT burgundy, it is a beautiful red color which epitomizes the whole Asian color scheme. When it arrived I was ecstatic because this was a gift and I was excited to see it in person. After seeing the item, I regretted the purchase. EVERYTHING was wrinkled so badly that it looked as though it had been wadded up and tossed in a dryer! (you all know how if you dry a comforter it starts rolling up into a ball and it wrinkles) The material was worse, it is NOT satin like it states. It is however a metallic looking material that is thin like a cheaply made halloween costume with the feel sort of like polyester! After a week of owning this product one of the pillows had ripped! This type of material cannot be sewn back together so the pillow is just ruined. The quality is HORRIBLE! The filling has missing spots and feels like it has just been randomly been stuffed with cheaply made cotton. Forget about washing it because that only makes it worse! I purchased the queen size and it too small for her full size bed. As soon as I put the bed skirt on, it ripped and has kept ripping ever since we bought it. She loves the print and we havent been able to find something this pretty anywhere, so we didnt send it back, but the customer service of Grand Linens is just as awful as their products! I would not recommend this to ANYONE....I don't even think I would torture a homeless person by asking them to sleep with this type of bedding! DO NOT BUY! I wasted 70.00 for crap when I bought my bedding from walmart 2 years ago and it does not have the problems with it that this one does brand new!I should start this out by saying I bought the white version of this last July... I loved the set so much but I've always wanted a red and black room... I hadn't seen this set when I ordered the white one or I would have had it first... That being said I LOVE them both...There are some differences though... The white one is thicker than the red one is... Which will be amazing once the summer months start... The red in the picture is a shade lighter then the actual comforter... (Which I LOVE) and the material is more of a taffeta instead of a cotton like the white version... I like them both but the pillow cases are alittle annoying... they tend to stick to your face... But that's okay I have black ones that I use... I LOVE this set but the pillows I think are overkill... I don't ever use the throw pillows...Save 53% Off
