I was looking for a smaller cabinet for a new HP 23 inch all in one computer I had recently purchased. The computer fits into the armoire just fine and the fold out desk top is sturdy enough to hold the computer which when I use, I slide it out just a bit. I don't slide it out onto the fold-down part more than a few inches just to be safe. But as I said, the fold down part seems sturdy. The screen fits back inside the armoire when I tilt the position of the screen back. I don't know if all screens for all in one computers tilt this way, I just know it works for my HP. There is a cord cut out in back for your computer. With my larger computer, it isn't possible to use the handy pigeon holes inside the armoire unless it's something I don't use very much because it isn't easily accessible. Using this with a laptop would be ideal though. Upper end it's not, but it fit my price range (I found it for less at my local discount oak furniture store) and I'm happy with it. It has a large drawer on the bottom to accommodate legal or standard sized hanging file folders.
