First, the product really nice nightstand, well-made, and comparable to more expensive nightstands I saw elsewhere. One correction to the product description: the handles are actually polished metal, not brushed, but they look really nice. The color is a dark espresso, a little darker than the photo online, but pretty close to that color. The drawer seems to be well-made and glides out easily.I don't usually like reviews that talk about shipping and returns, but one thing you should note: even though this product shows available via one or two day shipping, if you enter one or two day, it gets stuck in limboland. My order hung for more than a month until Amazon realized what was going on and moved it to "standard shipping." It then shipped out quickly via CEVA Freight and was delivered to my house. So if you decide to order this, enter standard shipping and ironically you'll get it a lot faster than 1 or 2 day shipping!

Solid construction, easy set up (just screwing in the drawer handle). It came well packed, lots of protective Styrofoam, though that does make for a mess wherever you're unboxing it.
The color is a dark espresso, almost black in dim lighting. It has a nice finish; nowhere do I see a spot I try to cover up, except right on the inside of the drawer railing is unstained. Perhaps the builder just missed a spot. There a prominent light wood look in that spot when the drawer is open, but that's no big deal to me.
I would take this $180 nightstand over a $500 piece any day of the week. Can't beat the value, and as you would expect, it matches the Modus bedframe perfectly.

I ordered the Modus Nevis platform bed a few months ago and have been hedging on the accompanying furniture. I finally broke down and got this nightstand and I'm very glad I did. Its beautiful, matched the bed perfectly, and came already assembled. It's a little larger than I had anticipated, but I didn't measure.
