I purchased this product online and recieved it in the beginning of May 2013. It took forever to get here first off. The delivery guys rushed the two packages that this china cabinet came in and threw them up on my deck all quick slick and in a hurry leaving me to struggle to get them inside the house myself. Then it was hurry sign sign, sign! The packages looked in good shape so I signed my life away without opening to inspect every last thing inside as it was late in the day. I opened the packages the next morning and there was tons of packing material in both cartons. Styrofoam really makes a mess! Styrofoam everywhere! As I unpacked it all the buffet looked good. The cabinet looked good. There were no instructions to be found. No paperwork of any kind. Luckily it wasn't all that hard to put together and I had done this type of thing before. I got to the packages of glass as the shelves and the side panels on this cabinet are glass. I opened the glass packages which on the outside looked fine. Nope! Two of the 8x10 side panels inside were completely shattered and as I opened the first package glass went everywhere on the floor. As far as the glass shelves and the rest of the glass panels go there was not one piece that wasn't chipped in some way all around the edges so now besides the glass all over the floor I have to watch out for razor sharp edges. The glass had to have been packed that way as there were plenty of packing materials in the undamaged cartons and those were not disturbed or damaged in any way. Luckily the way the shelves and panels mount those chips are hard to see on the peices that weren't broken but on close inspection they are noticable. There were missing screws. The dowels that hold the glass shelving in the front were not long enough to hold the shelves because the glass shelves were cut much too short so the first shelf I put in almost fell out and broke. One of the wood knobs was damaged (again these were inside an undamaged box also)and the screws for those weren't long enough because the holes weren't recessed deeply enough in the doors and drawer so it took several trips to Home Depot. New screws. New knobs. New dowels which of course I had to re-drill for because the only dowels I found close to the size used were a bit bigger. Long story short it took six hours two trips to Home Depot, some re-engineering,a lot of cleanup and an extra $120.00 to get this all together. I am not a happy camper. I am still waiting for the $80 in glass panels I had to order myself as I recieved no help from Wayfair since I signed for the packages without taking everything out and inspecting it all when delivered...like the delivery guys were going to wait for that. I mean when I did unpack all this it took well over twenty minutes! After all the hard work re-engineering,running to the hardware store and extra money spent I finally have a pretty good looking peice of furniture. I shouldn't be this complicated and the owner of the company that manufactures this peice really needs to take a trip out to the shop and look at what's going on. This experience made me long for the days when you could actually find what you want at a real furniture store and have it delivered. I will not order any furnture online again and I would not order from Wayfair again! Order at your own risk!
