So I called the Sleep Shop to find out the difference in this mattress & the "Dynasty" mattress ...well, they are the same mattress; both manufactured by the Sleep Shop. So those of you who are shopping around, there's your answer. Even the covers are the same, but the embroidery is different.

At any rate, we received this mattress very quickly ...and it happened to be the day before we went out of town. So we slept great that first night & did notice a slight odor, but nothing to bothersome. Since we were gone for the next 5 days, I can't attest to how long the odor lasted. I did order pillows & protectors for the mattress & pillows. It's been 3 weeks & there is a barely noticeable odor but I can't say for certain that it is the mattress.

As for comfort of the mattress, like MANY people have attested regarding memory foam mattresses, it takes about a week to get used to. I think it is a little on the firm side, but every morning for the first week my back felt a little better. I can now say I LOVE this mattress! I just hope it stands the test of time. Yes, there is a 20 year warranty (full 10 year & then prorated), but I would have to pay for shipping. So we'll just have to see...

We love it and as people have said it is firm in the beginning but it does become softer with time. We love it alot. We dont toss and turn all night. It was not so firm that we were uncomfortable. I can not sleep on a firm mattress. i would buy it again.
