The tables were nice, but a real pain to assemble. It's not difficult to assemble, but it is very tedious. Wood had some scratches, but nothing a dark brown marker couldn't hide. Shipping took longer than estimated.

We were so disappointed to get this set with some pieces broken. The wood was split right in two on a couple pieces. The company was very cooperative in arranging for pick-up and refunding our money though.

I love the tables and rate them a "5" even though I have had shipment problems. One of the legs arrived broken; I requested a replacement which I received and it too arrived broken. I am now awaiting delivery of my second replacement shipment and have my fingers crossed. The tables, however, are very sturdy, substantial, and attractive, and a good value for the price.

These tables came in excellent condition. The Amazon picture of these tables accurately represents what you will get. I agree with other reviewers, the tables are tedious to assembly but not difficult.

I was looking for an inexpensive glass topped set to replace a set I gave to my daughter. I needed 38" table or smaller, but not super small. This was perfect. This set arrived quickly. My husband, NOT a do it your self type, put it together with minimal help while I was away one day. It looks wonderful and appears much more expensive than it was. There was a small nick/ding on the inside of a coffee table leg. No one noticed until I pointed it out. A dab of brown polish covered. I would definitely recommend this set. You won't find a better set for this price.
