Frenchi Furniture Queen Ann Style Cherry Finish Vanity Set w/Stool

This was the first peice of furniture that I bought on the internet. I bought mine from a different seller because it was a little bit cheaper and I was kind of worried that it would be damaged from shipping because I had read about that happening in a lot of reviews. I was very happy with the condition that it arrived in, not a scratch or nick on it, the shipper did a great job of packaging. The vanity itself is BEAUTIFUL! The best part is that it went together very easily, the only tool you need that is not included is a phillips screw driver. It took me less than a half an hour to get everything together. It is very classy looking and I highly recommend it. I'm so happy with it I'm looking at other furniture in this line.

I was looking for a nice make-up table for the master bedroom. Not too huge but large enough to be functional. This vanity is well worth the money. Curved legs give it a sophisticated look as does the fine dark cherry finish. The stool is not oversized but is plenty large enough to accommodate my oversized... well, you know. I had worried that the set would be too bulky for the room as it seems larger in the photos (I have trouble with spatial visualization) but it really is an elegant fit. The mirrors are attached to each other but the two side sections swing so that you can adjust your view. The center mirror is affixed quite firmly to the back of the table by way of a pair of wooden supports that screw into the back of the frame and the back ot the table.

The construction is quite sturdy. The sections fit together smoothly and very snug eliminating any wobble you might find in more cheaply designed items. The vanity arrives well packed and requires no special skills to assemble. It went together very quickly and easily. All in all I would say it is an excellent purchase and would not hesitate to buy it again.

In order to be fair I will try to list all of the things that I would change if I had designed this item.

The ratio of mirror to frame is a little small. By that I mean that the wood surrounding the mirrors could have been narrower allowing for slightly more viewing space.

The only other thing that could be better would be if there were three drawers instead of just the center one. Don't get me wrong, the single drawer is good sized and will hold a lot of "stuff" but I would have designed it with two smaller, 1/2 depth drawers flanking the main one. However, the drawer does open easily and doesn't hit you in the lap!

I purchased a cherry wood vanity. The product arrived in great quality, however I do not use it frequently and am not happy with it. The vanity mirrors are tiny! You have to be less tan 5'0" tall to be able to see yourself in the mirror, even if you are sitting on the stool. This is mainly due to the mirrors being very narrow. I wish the seller made larger side mirrors for the vanity, as the product is expensive. I would not purchase the product again, if I could go back in time! Please beware.
