I purchased this set on Amazon from Home and Living. It took a while for it to ship and when it did ship, it came in multiple deliveries. The slow shipping aside, it was well worth the wait! The product was packaged in such a way that it would have been very difficult for it to be damaged in transit (I greatly apprecaited that). Once received I was missing two chairs, I contacted home and living, they were very responsive and corrected the oversight immediately. The set is absolutely beautiful and a true value for the money. It looks like a set that would cost much more. I am very pleased with my purchase, home and livings customer serivce and speedy response time. I would strongly recommend this item and seller to anyone in the market for a quality product and retailer. I will buy from them in the future.

This set more than met my expectations. I love the counter height, and the chairs are comfortable. Two reasons I didn't rate it a '5' -while easy, I still had to put it together -and the chair seats are covered in a leather-like material that looks kind of cheap. However, that is easily remedied with some fabric and staple gun.

For the price (and I got it at a great price), this was an outstanding purchase

Ordered this from Home and Living and even though it took a while to get here, it was well worth the wait. Beautifully made and will last a long, long time.

That being said, putting it together is a chore. Screws and bolts galore! I decided to get a jump start on the procedure and put together one of the chairs before my son came to help. The instructions aren't abundantly clear, but I managed to figure it out ... sort of ... got the chair together and went to put on the seat and realized that I had put the bottom of the seat on up side down. Taking that apart and putting it back together added even more time, 11 bolts and screws had to be taken out and put back in. The good news, after I finished that chair, I knew that I could do another without any of the problems I had caused myself.

My son put the table together, and put one of the chairs together (it only took him about 25 minutes to put together one chair). I'm going to let him put together the rest, I'm done :-) One piece of advice, sort out the bolts before you begin assembly, the long and medium bolts are extremely close in size.

Very nice set. I think it looks much better in person, though the picture is really accurate. Love the fact that it is black, most of the sets I've found are the espresso color and I really don't like the dark brown look. I'm very happy with my purchase.
