As described. Fairly easy to assemble and install. Had to make some brackets for the frame unit, but overall good product for the price.

this headboard goes perfect with my sons bed and it was easy to build, by myself and looks awsom it his room and he loves having the shelves there.

I will say that this would have been two stars, but for the price point I'm pleased enough. First off, the instructions weren't that great. Some of the pieces weren't labeled in the manual which slowed me down. You are able to work past that and it is possible to put this together on your own (though I did have "help" from my 5 yr old). Quality was good enough for the price I paid. I love the fact that it has the two sliding doors! Overall this headboard looks great in my sons room and he loves to stash little things on the shelves. Two biggest complaints are that the brackets to attach the headboard to the bed were horrible. They didn't line up with bed at all and we had to add wood to the inside and adhere it to the extra piece. If we had the time, I would have preferred just to go to the hardware store and buy bigger brackets. And the shelves are not tall enough to fit regular sized books on the shelves. Not even my sons Magic Tree house books can sit upright. :( we have to stack them on their sides. Bummer!
