ACME Swivel Bar Stool, 24-Inch Height, Cherry

We ordered three of these for our kitchen bar. They were easily assembled (although the screws left my fingers black and greasy), and they've held up well.

I've had this stool for about 4 years, and it still looks as good as when I bought it. Fully cushioned, comfortable as far as stools go, and sturdy. It's nice-looking, too; I use it as a stand in the living room when it's not being used for seating. Put a flat piece of decorative wood on it and you have a plant stand, a "next-to-recliner" stand, whatever. Live in a townhome, don't have acres of room in here.

I bought 4 stools for my home bar that I built using real cherry wood. I saw these stools on Amazon and thought they would be a great match to my Cherry bar. I opened the one package to inspect the wood.(I work in the wood products industry and know my lumber fairly well.) Upon inspection, the wood is actually Maple that is stained to look like Cherry. I really like the stools and they will still look great, but I was highly disappointed that they are not made with real cherry.
