Boraam Augusta Swivel Stool

Boraam 48829 Augusta Swivel Stool, 29-Inch, CappuccinoWe bought two of these chairs only to find after two weeks damage to the turn-table and back upright cracking from knots in the lumber. The first time that you sit on the chair you hear popping and cracking. This is due to the threaded inserts being pulled away within the soft lumber used in construction. The turn-tables are light duty, they are only 50% of the seat diameter so that they can not carry the sufficient load when sitting in the chair. The product was shipped properly, a few scratches but appeared OK. The chairs are not built well and should do not warrant the price. Don't buy these chairs if you are near 200 lbs in weight, maybe they are good for children.

The bar stools are well made, comfortable and look better than the picture. The items arrived quickly and in excellent shape and was easy to put together. Good price.

I couldn't be more pleased with the stools (we ordered two)!! Not only are they beautiful, but are a heavy-weight, excellent quality product and we are looking forward to enjoying these for a long time!! Took us about an hour to put together. I have a suggestion regarding the assembly.... in Step One, be sure to do EXACTLY as directed by the instructions. You MUST MAKE SURE THAT TO LOOSELY TIGHTEN THE LEG SCREWS TO THE FOOT REST... one loose screw to the foot rest, followed by afixing the top of that particular leg to the wooden ring that the swivel mechanism sits in. Then, as the directions indicate, move on to the next leg, etc. If you tighten down the leg screws to the foot rest too much, the wooden ring that holds the seat, etc. won't fit on the top part of the leg. Hope this helps avoid a lot of time and head-scratching in trying to figure out the first step! Again, thanks for an EXCELLENT product!
