I bought this for a smaller child and child's room. It was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear and all pieces clearly marked. The size is perfect for a smaller bedroom and the bed seem sturdy. It is not meant for rough housing or very active children. The weight limit is not very high. The laddler rails are tubular and small in diamater. For safety, I think the wide flat wrungs would be much better. Unfortunately, to get those higher weight limits and safety features, you have to buy a more expensive bed which can be hard to do when on a budget. Overall it was a good buy for us and my child loves it.
Cons: Shorter than I expected
I bought two of these for my kids, hoping to buy a desk/chair to put underneath. Not going to happen. Maybe a beanbag chair and nightstand/toybox. I will definitely have to upgrade as they get older.

This bed is working out very nice for my five year old. The warning label does say for six and up but he is doing fine with it. It comes in a lot of pieces but I got it together in about 1.5 hours myself. I put a Ikea foam mattress on it and he sleeps well.
