I'm a mother of a 2-year-old son and one on the way. We wanted to make way for new baby so we decided to transition our son into a toddler bed. We saw a lot of sets at our local stores but were never really satisfied with what we found. When I saw this Dr. Suess ABC toddler bedding set I just knew it would be perfect! This is my sons ultimate favorite book and when he first saw it on his new big boy bed he was so excited to use it. I don't know if it was my son's easy-going demeanor or the bedding set itself that made the transition super easy. He is still till this day so excited to sleep in it and we never had a problem getting him in his new room. What I also love about this set that wasn't featured in other bedding sets is the "hugger style" quilt and top sheet. The fitted sheet has the garter corners but also the top sheet and the comforter has that same feature on the bottom two corners so my son can't kick the blankets off like he usually does.

This is such a cute set in the bag and on the website. The sheets wash up really nice and you can tell they are a good quality cotton. The comforter is another story. It looks great until you wash it. I followed the washing instructions and the top waffle weave part with the Dr Seuss embroidery shrunk really really bad, pulling on the design. It looks awful now! I think in hindsight I would have tried washing by hand and letting it air dry. Clearly this material was not pre-washed, where the rest of the comforter material was. For the money this costs it should have been made better. Unfortunately I am stuck with it for now! But I will not buy this brand again!

I had read the mixed reviews regarding this bed set but it was too cute to pass up so I took my chances. I am very pleased! The sheets and comforter have already been washed at least a dozen times and have held up really well. They do not look worn and the colors have not faded (I followed the instructions that are on the tag). The stuffing has shifted a little in the comforter but it does not take away from the look or feel of it. Very cute set and I would highly recommend it!

Bought this set for my 3rd son's nursery. Looked great right out of the package, until I washed it. I washed it per the instructions on the bedding and the colors bled REALLY badly. I even used several of the color catcher sheets and the colors still bled, even on the sheets. Very disappointed. Will be sending the set pack for replacement.

Updated, just received my replacement. I was VERY careful in treating and washing the bedding. After several washes with color catcher sheets in cold water on the "handwash" cycle, it came out with much better results than my first. I hope that the first set I received was just improperly treated in the factor and that is why it bled so badly. Overall I am more satisfied with my product, and VERY satisfied that Amazon was so quick to send a replacement.

I bought an Olive Kids bedding set for my toddler's bed (crib converted to toddler). It was an animal print, super cute, but no matter how many times I washed it with tricks and hints to soften bedding, it stayed itchy and scratchy and he was very vocal about his disapproval. I got back to Amazon (my favorite place to shop for such things) and was looking around. I found this one, and I hmm'd and hah'd a while, mostly over the price which seems so high for kid's bedding. They aren't off in comparison, so I bit the bullet. I absolute love it! I didn't catch that it had the huggable end (on blanket & sheet) to keep kids from kicking it off, that ends up being great and makes making the bed take a second. The sheets & comforter are very soft. Washes up well in my opinion. Other reviews mention the puckering of the embroidery portion; I really didn't notice much of that. It looks slightly wrinkled, but if I (and I don't have care to) wanted to, I could easily iron it flat. Glad I bought this set, and have since bought accessories here and there that are part of this set, and some aren't I just made it work.
