I bought this for my baby girls room and it is so sweet. You need a hook for the ceiling and it hangs down about 3 feet. It adds a great touch to any sweet girls room. Not to mention it is cheap. Get it!

1 year old loves to have momma and daddy blow on this every morning and diaper change. i thought it would be longer, based on the pictures or i would have given it a 5. also, it's put together with fishing line and i don't think it would hold up well to being outside.

It wasn't until my daughter was 3 months old before I bought a mobile because I couldn't find one that had good reviews AND matched the nursery decor. But this mobile has great reviews and also matched my baby girl's room decor.

Because the mobile consists of very basic creatures from nature and they're not overly decorated with prints, it blends in well with several nursery themes. My daughter's room is nature-themed in that her walls are pale yellow and there is a light blue accent wall with a wall mural of a tree with birds, butterflies and small animals around the base of the tree (turtle, squirrel).

My daughter LOVES this mobile. It's a ceiling mobile and when hung as-is, it's still a bit too high above the crib. However, because my baby is young and not able to stand in her crib and reach up, I felt it would be beneficial to lower the mobile so that she could have a better view of it. I added more length to it by attaching about 4 inches of more clear plastic string, then hung it from the ceiling. I'm sure any sort of string or ribbon will do, but I chose clear plastic string so that it would be more disquised. This lowers the mobile enough to where my daughter can actually SEE each part of the mobile clearly so that she's actually distracted by it, but not able to touch it.

Each part of the mobile is made of light material so that it moves just with normal air circulation in the room. It does NOT tangle, even when the ceiling fan is on.

This is one of my favorite online purchases for my daughter's room and I highly recommend it!
