Oh man this bed is terrible. DO NOT BUY IT!

First of all, the box it comes in is extremely long and weighs over 100lbs and living on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, it was next to impossible to get up the stairs...and that was with 2 people helping.

Putting it together was fairly easy but the holes were too small and the screws didn't screw in all the way.

One of the side wood pieces was warped and because so, the slats don't fit and the bed falls apart about 3 times a month.

You get what you pay for. The bed is cheap cheap cheap and NOT worth the $ and agony.

Just would not stay together the hardware did not seem to fit. The size and styling were greatbut the bed is just very poor quality.

I got what I paid for. I needed something for the guest bedroom and this fit the bill. It took about a half an hour to put together with two peopleit was not that difficult. it's not very solid, but I suppose for the price that should be expected. After two months, It's fallen apart several times while my roommate was sitting on it. The dowels and metal pins are a very weak link. They come loose and there is nothing really holding anything permanently in place. I ended up gluing it togetherhopefully it will hold but I am not confident. The side rails are also bowing outand my roommate can't be more than 100 pounds.

Love it. Very sturdy for my 5 year old. The mattress we have must be a full cuz it ha a little room on the sides that is exposed. Otherwise great!!

Let me begin by saying that this product is so well packaged, it would be extremely difficult to damage it during shipping. It arrived in a battered box, but underneath all the insulation was a bed in perfect condition. I was concerned about how much weight this bed could really withstand due to the fact that the platform is made of pressed wood. I was surprised to find that the bed is very well stablized with four support beams going across the bed in addition to the side platform shelves which all hold the platform sections. In addition to that, two of the support beams going across the bed have full length legs as added support. It would require pretty extreme abuse to cause this bed to collapse. I am quite happy with this product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive bed.
