Who cares that this is not to quality with the material used for real street signs. Dudes it only cost $9 deal with it! This is great for my sons room and I was very happy to actually find something with his name on it since it's so hard to find. He's not going to be playing with it, its going up on his wall so for that purpose IT DOES THE JOB!!!

The sign feels like a laminated cardboard type material, NOT any sort of metal or plastic. For the price it lacks value, it feels cheap. I assumed (my lesson learned) that this would be at the least a thin aluminum feel or similar . The material is easily damaged, and in fact came with slight mars already pressed into the surface. A fingernail press would leave a permanent indention.
