I bought this desk because the kitchen table was no longer practical for my homeschooled kindergartner. This desk is working out perfectly so far. It was easy to put together and seems to be constructed well for the price. I have another child that will be homeschooled when he is old enough which is why I bought a desk large enough to seat two children. In the meantime my daughter enjoys the extra table space and so does her cat. ;-)She is very petite for her age so this table should last a few years for her and her little brother. The hole for the cords will be handy later when she will be using a computer too. The shipping price is a bit more than I wanted to pay but comparable to any other shipping price for oversized items. The price on the desk was really good so that helped compensate for the shipping. It's not a fancy desk but it certainly does the job well enough and I would purchase it again.

Nice little table for the young ones. Assembly was straightforward, except the legs could get in the way of the screw driver when they were put on. The desk is spacious enough to hold two laptops or two 20-inch LCD monitors side by side, and the depth offers plenty of room for keyboard and notepad. I knocked off one star because I think a reasonable price given the quality of the materials could be at least 20% lower.

We purchased this desk for our Kindergarten student so he had a "special" place to sit and do his homework. It is a great size and should be good for the next few years (our son is big for his age). It was easy to put together and quite sturdy for the price. The holes for computer wires are a nice touch, though we don't currently use them. Two small children could share the desk, but it would be a bit cramped. It also provides a good work space that allows one of to sit next to him and help him as needed. I would highly recommend this desk.

I bought this desk for our new home to create a work space for my 5 and 8 year old boys. It's perfect! Very easy to assemble, and the work space for each of my boys is great. They love it! I also purchased two of the chairs, so they now how their perfect little homework space by themselves. I purchased two little clamp on desk lamps for either side and still have plenty of desk room. Great purchase. I'm very happy and so are my boys. Would highly recommend, as it is a big space saver when you have children who each want their own desk.

I was very disappointed when it arrived. Fabricated from poor quality materials it looks and feels like it was made in someone's garage. My son spilled water on the desk surface and within 10 minutes it was warped, the surface lifted away from the cheap pressboard below. I called the company to share my concerns and the person was extremely rude. A rating of zero stars would be more accurate.
