Shabby Cottage Chic Metal Bird Wall Hook Bathroom Hook

This hook is very well made, substantial in construction, and just plain "cute". However, unfortunately, the holes for mounting are way too big to use for a normal size nail or screw. Whatever is used to securely mount it will be visible and a distraction to the otherwise pleasing design. (It's almost like the designer forgot to include a way to mount this thing while designing it -what a shame.) This purchase was made in haste, and rather than returning it, I'll be donating it to my local animal shelter thrift shop.

When I saw this shabby chic bird hook on Amazon, I knew I had to have it. When I got it in the mail, I was so excited. I guess I wasn't paying attention because I thought it looked white on the site, but the order receipt actually said "yellow" (I was excited, okay?). Anyway, it didn't seem that yellow to me. Mine is a very faint yellow. More ivory/white. Not too much distress/rust, but not too little, either.

I'm not sure if it was difficult to hang up because my hubby did it for me while I was running some errands, but otherwise I love this. Very sturdy, cute, and I'm very happy with my purchase!
