Whoever else has said this it is so true: you have to put this on a white wall. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just the inside of the lantern that was white but random pieces are outlined white, not all the pieces, just some of them...? Overall it is cute but I don't know why it is not a hundred percent what I was expecting and I'm slightly disappointed.

This piece also went in my granddaughters room along with the bird cage from a branch. It is so pretty in her room.
