Was unaware that this item had to be assembled, would not have purchased had I known. Item arrived without all the parts required for a full assembly, had to call vendor twice; parts arrived 22 days after the bench had been delivered. (Via signature-required UPS; US mail would have prevented an extra day of waiting...) The drawer does not fit flush in cabinet when assembled according to instructions. Very unhappy with vendor (SEI Soutern Enterprises Inc) for sloppy customer service, and Amazon for not properly advertising the product. Also; delivery estimates are inaccurate, as the item arrived four days before the scheduled delivery window. (At least the UPS tracking number accurate)
I cannot be happier, this bench is extremely well made it is very sturdy. It looks so good under the bedroom window. What a lovely place to read a book Love Love Love It

Amazon delivered the product in one day which was great, except FEDEX did not even ring my apartment buzzer to let me know it was there. The product itself ok to put together not difficult but not easy. The problems was discovered towards the end of assembly. We found a visible nick on the top of the flat surface. What to do return it after it was 80% assembled? We continued assembling. Then the drawer the worst part of the assembly does not fit right so it rubs against the bottom and right side. All screws are in their proper place and still can get it aligned. This items although looks great on the photos and from a distance is one small step up from IKEA furniture. We are glad we found it on amazon for $40 less than most other places. Probably the last time we purchase a piece of furniture online.
