This South Shore Sebastian 4 Drawer Chest (Mocha) is a great value at only $178. Obviously this isn't going to be the most durable, high quality product at such a cheap price, but to look at it, you would never know. It is quite obvious when you're opening drawers and assembling it, but who cares if you need to save money? For those of you looking for an attractive, low cost dresserbuy this one!

The coloring is very very dark brown. Great color because it doesn't show finger prints or dust. The knobs are expensive looking, and add a little bit extra to the dresser... and the drawers actually slide in/out very easily.

The assembling is extremely easy. I'm an average 26 year old and not super handy, but had no trouble putting this together in a little over an hour.

Despite this being pressed woodI love it! Highly suggest to anyone looking for a low cost, attractive dresser!

I usually have an expectation of pressed or particle board furniture. I know that it will be cheaper made, less quality, and not as durable. My mind was blown when this product was not that way at all. Though not solid wood, this piece is solid wood quality. So, throw away any false expectations you may have like I did.

It will take some time to put together though. There are many pieces and lots of nuts, bolts, and screws. You will also need to provide your own tools to assemble as it does not come with any. A hammer, flat-head screw driver, Phillips screw driver, and metric is needed. Enjoy the product! We like it!

I received this South Shore Sebastian 4-Drawer chest at no charge, as part of the Amazon Vine program. However, I always try to review items as if I had actually paid my own hard earned money for them. With that being said, I do not think this chest is worth nearly the price that it is currently selling for. It is made of press board. It does seem durable enough so far, but press board just cannot compare to real wood for longevity and durability. The hardware is very nice, and looks expensive. The finish on the press board looks nice as well, although it is obvious that it is not real wood. The drawers glide easily.

I give kudos to the manufacturer for including wall-mounting brackets with this chest. The item seems steady enough on our wood floors, but falling furniture is a frequent cause of injury and death in young children. It never hurts to be safe, so we have all of the furniture in our toddlers bedroom fastened to the wall.

This is not a large piece of furniture. According to the specifications here on Amazon, it is 30.5 wide x 16.2 deep x 41.5 inches high. I think it is a good size for baby or toddler clothes, but as a child gets older, it will not have enough storage space.

I bought this to match the South Shore nightstand I already had purchased and put together. Let me tell you, this is a TWO person job! I had my Mother come over to help me and we were able to get it all together in about an hour and a half. Which isnt bad considering the thing weighs a ton and has a million peices! It is very nice put together and not too big for a spare room. The only problem I have with it was that you REALLY should use the included bracket to mount this on the wall. It is extremely top heavy and if a child were playing near it or pulling out the top drawers, I do believe it would topple over on top of them. In fact, I believe it could easily fall over onto an adult as well. It looks nice, drawers seem pretty sturdy, but I would definitely attach it to the wall for safety reasons.

This small 4 drawer chest is very nice indeed. Of course, it's pressed board and I expected nothing more. The finish is a very rich dark brown, so dark it leans towards black with dark brown grains. Hardware is classy and actually makes the dresser appear to be more $$ than what it's actually worth. The drawer slides work great and there is a warranty which is a plus.

With this said assembly is daunting at first but can (and was in this household) completed by one person in less than 1.5 hours. Of course, two people would make it easier but wanted you to know it is possible for one set of hands to do this.

The drawers are a nice size but they are not deep so using for sweaters, jeans, even t-shirts would limit the items that would fit in each drawer. Overall it's a nice size for a child's room, meaning infant/toddler's room. The smaller clothes would fit nicely. Of course you could use for kids and adult's smaller personals and pjs but nothing bulkier.

In use at this point the drawers work perfectly but it seems there should be a few more anchors to the frame. When the drawers were not in the dresser, it really seems to sway on the sides.

We received this from Amazon's Vine for review. I would be disappointed if I paid $180+ for this item. While the look is nice and it serves the purpose, for that amount of money you can most likely find one assembled at a small furniture store or even one such as this (to assemble) in a department store for less $$.

I don't want to complain because this was a free Vine item but the cost of this item is strictly in appearance and some quality but I highly suggest you shop around before purchasing. I'd opt for a bigger dresser that can grow with the kids before purchasing one this size.
