This was a great bargain at a great price. You really cannot tell from looking that this is plastic. It's sturdy, well made and shiny! It really is, whatever the finish--it's a hit. Looks like the real thing, but won't tarnish. I doubt any customer would be disappointed. Holds up well in the bathroom, sturdier than you think by just looking at the photo. I'd by another from this company if I ever needed another vanity tray. I really hemmed and hawed and glad I made the purchase.
