I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife and she really loves it, but becarful if you don't have a lot of room because its larger then it appears online. Its pretty beefy too.
I have this vanity stool for about a year now and I was happy I made my purchase at the time I made it, because I paid at better price point. It is made of solid wood and not MDF crap that most manufacturers nowadays use. The skirt can be cut off as an option, if you want to show the beautiful wooden legs instead of hiding it with the skirt. It does swivel at 360" which I really liked. The low back is perfect to not make the chair looked too bulky or stuffy in the area/room. The only thing that I didn't like was the shade of ivory that this manufacturer used and that's the reason why I gave it a 4 star. IT IS MORE OF A "YELLOWISH/GOLDISH" SHADE THAN A "CREAM" HUE. Perhaps they need to take a new trip to the fabric store or see an ivory bridal dress to have a better idea as far as color choice/description is concern. Fabric/color wise, there is certainly room for improvement!;-)

The description says this is an ivoty damask, but the fabric is yellow! So yellow, it approaches gold. Very dissapointed with this. My mother is having a slip cover made for it.

I love the design of the chair. However, I ordered the gold and I got a Pea green chair. Not very pretty
