South Shore Gravity Collection Queen Bed with Headboard and Nightstand, Ebony

The bed frame when put together is rather flimsy. There are thin boards that just lay across the frame to set your mattress on. If you move the bed you have to be careful to place it square since it doesn't hold together well on its own. I ordered this bed because the stairway in my house will not accommodate a queen size box spring. This frame says it can be used without a box spring. Well, that is true, but not very comfortable. The pictures don't show exactly how your mattress will be situated atop pieces of wood. I have seen other bed frames that actually had springs that attach side to side across the frame to eliminate the need for a box spring. That is what I was hoping this was. If you do put a box spring on the bed, the headboard is too low to make any kind of style statement. Also, some of the holes were not pre-drilled which made assembly more difficult. Still trying to figure out what I can do to make it more comfortable. I already put a pillow topper on the bed, and that helped but it's still not a dreamy sleep
