Bought this dresser for my new granddaughter's clothes. It arrived in record time, no problem. The backing is just cardboard and the rails that hold the drawers in are plastic. No way they are going to hold up for years. Her Dad is looking for new metal drawer rails. Otherwise, nice color and style and the perfect size for little girls clothes.

I bought this recently for my child's nursery. It took quite awhile to arrive and when it did, my husband was not excited to see that it came in a million pieces. I'm used to IKEA furniture, with assembly required, but for this dresser you have to attach everything; the frame and wheels for each drawer, etc. Once it was put together, we were both a bit disappointed by the color. It appears to be a true white in the pictures, but it's much more of a "whitewash" look. It doesn't completely match the rest of the room.

I would not recommend you buying this product. We bought this for our daughter and we are very dissapointed. I have bought cheap furniture before but never anything like this. My husband and I asssmbled it together it took 2 hours. It is made of particle board with plastic rails not metal as described. Looks can be deceiving, it looks nice but if you dont want this to fall on your child i would not buy. We put it together and it leaned and rocked back and forth, we figured maybe we skipped a step. But, no you have to screw the dresser INTO YOUR WALL to stabilize it. It clearly says "to prevent from falling on children locate a stud in the wall and screw" WHAT? i have never heard of this in my life. I touched it with my finger and it looks like it will just fall apart on the spot!

I purchased a bedroom set consisting of the chest, dresser, and bedside cabinet. As much as you hear of all the gripes and moans of buyers. The rule of thumb is you get what you pay for. This is no different to most furniture out there, the only difference for the most part is you save money by putting it together yourself. My reason for this review is to help all those who worry and moan about these pieces. I suggest to you ALL to use glue on all the dowels and where wood meets wood. secondly and most importantly throw the backing board out in the trash and take a wee trip down to home depot or lowes and ask one of the really nice guys to cut you a piece of 1/8" hardboard to the size you require. This will cost you max $7 and will make the whole piece of furniture ten times stronger. The cardboard backing pieces that come with these flat pack furniture are useless and throwing them out and replacing them with hardboard makes the piece more ridgid and sturdy feeling. Just doing these 2 steps will make the pieces of furniture last alot longer and easier to move. I hope this helps you :-)

I was so excited to get this dresser and matching bed. Upon arrival I assembled the headboard, no to bad when it comes to quality, then the dresser. What a piece of crap. The dresser is made of particle board and cardboard. The drawers slide, well actually they don't slide very well, on plastic rails. My 6 yr old daughter couldn't get the drawers open. I am disgusted with the quality and I am currently trying to return it...do not buy! It is a waste of $$$.
