Latitude Sideboard

Latitude SideboardThe delivery process was a nightmare. I was notified not once but twice by the delivery driver that the sideboard had a punture type hole in it. I reordered a third time because I love the sideboard. On third time, the driver called my home and said again the sideboard had a hole in the back but that it wasn't as severe and the previous 2 times. I asked if he would let me inspect it prior to my accepting it and he agreed. The back of the sideboard was indeed damaged again, but I decided that since it was going to be against a wall that I would keep this one. I don't blame the delivery driver, I blame the company for not properly packaging the furniture for shipment. There was no pallet or anything sturdy underneath the item that would allow it to be loaded with a forklift which is what is done with something as heavy as furniture. No one seems to care about the proper handling of items being shipped, they just pass it down the line as if they know nothing of the damage they have caused nor the money lost by the company for merchandise that is damaged and not accepted by the customer.
