Color is a darker oak than the online picture shows, but this matched the other oak furniture in our living room closely enough. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and holds all my components just fine. There is a warning label that comes with the stand that indicates the formaldehyde levels of this item are safe, but be aware there is a distinct smell with this item that is fading/will fade over time.
