Queen Deluxe 10" Mattress with Dual Air Flow 3" 5.3LB Density Viscoelastic Memory Foam , 20 Year Wa

Queen Deluxe 10' Mattress with Dual Air Flow 3' 5.3LB Density Viscoelastic Memory Foam , 20 Year WarrantyWe did a lot of homework before buying this mattress. We went to a tempurpedic store and laid down on the various mattresses to see what the different foam densities felt like, and which one we preferred. We went with this mattress because we liked this particular density, which is quite firm. The bed feels exactly like the tempurpedic one. The "no transfer of motion" thing advertised by memory foam mattress makers is only true if you have a platform bed, or your mattress rests on the floor. If you have the mattress on box springs or on a solid base in a regular bed frame, the bed itself will still move when you do. That said, it is still a lot less transfer of motion than you get with a traditional mattress. I am currently 6 months pregnant, and this bed has been a lifesaver for my back. There was a very strong headache-inducing chemical smell when we first unwrapped the mattress, but we walked on it a couple of nights before bed, and that helped it dissipate. It lingered for about a week where you could smell it in the room, and about a month where you could smell it if you stuck your head under the covers or put your face against the mattress. Neither one of us got a headache after the first night though, and we never woke up with a headache. The biggest reason why I gave this mattress 4 stars instead of 5 is the mattress cover. It's a nice, soft material and appears to be quite similar to the covers used by tempurpedic. But we have found that it sheds and pills terribly beneath our sheets, and I have to vacuum the bed every time I change the sheets. The cover zips off for washing, but it looks like it would be a real chore to get it off and get it back on, so I have stuck with the vacuum.

This 10inch memory foam mattress is the single best purchase of my entire life. I could go on and on about how I used to have back problems and now I hardly have a sigle issue. I could also say that sometimes, the instant I hit this bed I fall asleep, or even that it was such a great price. But I will just keep it simple:

1) Air this mattress out for 1 week. (point a fan at it in your garage/living room/whatever) It might be a bit inconvenient but you only have to do it once. All mattresses like this smell a bit (do some research if you are uneasy).

2) Place on your bed slats/box spring/floor (it doesn't matter which)

3) Enjoy a really good night sleep.

I have owned this mattress for about 1 year, and it is still as good as the day we got it. If this mattress lasts another 5-10 years, nothing would make me happier. I can't promise you it will, but I sure hope it does.

I debated about buying this mattress for a while, but in hind sight, I wish I hadn't. From the first night sleeping on it, there was a marked improvement in comfort throughout the night and stiffness in the morning. It only took 2 hours for the mattress to come to full form and the smell was so slight that just a celing fan for a couple of hours and some febreeze took it right away. I slept on it the first night. My lower back is usually the issue during the night and in the morning, but for the last 10 days, it has been all but gone! Even though I have only had it for a little more than a week, I look forward to the pain relief it will bring me for several years to come!

This is a great memory foam mattress, esp for the price. Not exactly sure how to review a mattress, but I'll just say I'm very satisfied with my purchase and find it to be very comfortable and supportive. It seems to be high quality, though I've only had it about 2 weeks. I don't have any back problems, and my previous mattress was pretty awesome too (though not memfoam), so I can't really comment on how much better or worse my rest is. I don't wake up with any aches or pains, and I seem to be sleeping well, though!

That said, be prepared for the following:

1) Yep, it's firm. TBH first night especially after the air mattress I was sleeping on after moving to my new apt I was having second thoughts. But I've quickly gotten used to it, and now it just feels really nice.

2) Yep, it smells when you first take it out of the packaging. Just leave it there for a couple days and it'll air out. I slept on it first night and while the smell was pretty strong, it didn't kill me or give me a headache or anything. This is apparently also pretty common amongst budget memory foam mattresses, which, yes, this would qualify as.

3) Yep, it's heavy. I felt bad for the doorman at my building he had to put it on the luggage cart for me, and it was like 75lbs of rolled up foam. As long as you don't need to carry it upstairs, though, you'll be fine doing this with just one person. I just rolled/dragged it around.

4) If you've never had a memfoam mattress before, be aware that it does sleep a little warmer than regular mattresses. It hasn't been disruptive for me, but I do notice I wake up with the covers thrown off quite a bit. Then again, I am sleeping under a down comforter in an apartment that's usually around 78 degrees.

Bottom line is: this is an amazing mattress for the price ergo the 5 star review. However, if you expect this to actually measure up to a $3000 mattress on EVERY level, you might be a little disappointed; not in terms of quality, really, but just in terms of service. If I'd paid $3000 for this, I would've probably given it a 3.5-4 stars. Still great comfort, but at that price I'd be bitchier about lack of white glove delivery, smell, etc. But, y'know, I didn't. So I'm happy!

Want Queen Deluxe 10" Mattress with Dual Air Flow 3" 5.3LB Density Viscoelastic Memory Foam , 20 Year Wa Discount?

I looked at mattresses online for months before buying this one. My parents bought the classic tempur-pedic a few years ago and I wanted to do the same but we ended up moving into an apartment with a small bedroom. My fiance was having a rough time with my old spring mattress and I didn't want to spend all that money on a tempur-pedic queen, when I'd just end up buying the king next year when we moved into a bigger place.

I picked this one specifically because of the memory foam weight. It is the same as tempur-pedic, and I was really trying to get as close to that feeling as possible. I AM SO GLAD WE GOT THIS ONE INSTEAD!!! It feels so much like my parents bed. It's soft but supportive and the quality is amazing for the price. The cover even looks the same. You could buy more than 5 of these babies for the price they paid for theirs. I'm sure theirs is higher quality, but to get so close and pay less than a fifth of the price? I'm so in!

I expected an overwhelming odor when I opened it because that's what everyone says to expect from any new memory foam mattress, but honestly the smell was not strong and went away quickly. We took the plastic off, and let it air out and expand while we went to visit some friends for a few hours. When we returned about 6 hours later, it was full size and the odor was almost completely gone.

I kind of miscalculated how tall it was going to be. For some reason, I thought a 10 inch mattress was a bit on the slender side. I was wrong, it's very thick and plush. My sheets fit, but barely. I'll switch to deep pocket sheets going forward.
