Citronella Summer Tealight Candles (Set of 60)

Citronella Summer Tealight CandlesThese tealight candles work beautifully in the glass safety cups that I use to contain the flame, and though the citronella smells quite strong indoors, it should be right at home in the outdoors.

We have a large front porch that we use to entertain our Rocky Mountain neighbors and visiting city friends, We also have a large patio out in back of the house where we like to sit sometimes to watch the sunset.

Citronella candles work great for either applications because we are in the woods, and we have an active stream of water down our road, and within 1000 feet we have the canal between Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Lake in Grand Lake, Colorado--this means bugs!

Most of them are taken care of by the bird population that arrive here from the South and are hungry for the newly hatched insects. And then there are the bats the fly the summer evening sky--they enjoy quite a few, too! So once the lights come on on the porch or the back deck, we are usually inundated with them. These tealights help tremendously!!!
