The key broke as we were testing it for the very first time!! The key is so fragile, small and tiny. The lock is also very small, and anyone can open the lock by a small sharp item. So it beats the purpose of buying a chest with "lock".

Couple of screws were missing from the package.

Putting it together wasn't simple.

The price is totally not worth it and if taking it apart was easy and not time consuming, I would have definitely returned it :(

You stated in the add that the chest was made of wood and it is not. It is made of pressboard. I didn't see any wood that it had on it.

Yes, it was relatively inexpensive and I had low expectations, but it was even more cheaply made than I could expect for $180. The panels are wrapped in yards of saran wrap and sandwiched between styrofoam thicker than the panels...for good reason, breathe on it and it chips. It is built out of particle board with a very thin oak like veneer on the outside and a very thin cedar like veneer on the inner panels. I would say it is of a degree poorer construction than some of IKEA's low end furniture. If it weren't so much effort to pack it back up, I would return it.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I guess I did not read entirely, the unit is not put together and since we still have time before Christmas have not done so yet. Will up date review once we attempt that part. The shipping was great just as said and the packaging is very heavy duty. Very secure. I can't even lift the box and my husband said it is solid and not cheap partical board that some many things are made of these days.\

UPDATED REVIEW: We put the piece together and it is beautiful. I tad smaller than what I thought but that was my fault for not reading dimensions. The chest is very well made and will last a life time. We are very pleased. As I stated before the chest was shipped perfect and fast with no issues and the quality matches the service Excellent :)

If you are looking for a grandfather clock that is very attractive and makes a nice decorative touch to your home -then this clock is FANTASTIC! If you are looking for a grandfather clock that has a beautiful sound, chimes, heavy weights, etc. then you need to spend at least $1.5K more and buy a low end Howard Miller grandfather clock.

The chimes are not bad, but I grew up with a Howard Miller grandfather clock and there is no comparison.

I could not wait to write a review for this item. Long story short, it's all that! Short story long... I had a few reservations before making this purchase for these very reasons: the product description left out all the details that a customer needs while researching.

For example, the automatic shut-off to the sound at night (yes, after 10 pm to 5:59 or 7:59 am, I don't have time to look through the instructions right now, but there is nothing but silence).

Another issue that I was uncertain about was the measurements. They listed this in some weird way to where you are not sure if this is a tall standing clock or something half-size. But it is a tall 77 inches.

Lastly, was the color. By reading other reviews, I was skeptical about this color, but it is what it reads (or at least mine is). The color is cherry wood. A cherry is red, wood is brown, put them together and it's a brownish red.

Look, this is one of the best purchases that I have made for our new home so far and to sum it all up, this purchase is waaay better than trying to afford a genuine grandfather clock that has to be professionally maintenanced. This takes two D batteries, with a couple of chime options. You can even leave the sound off! So many details left out for this product.

Pendulum and weights look VERY real. We are extremely satisfied. Could NOT find a price that beat this one either (235.00)!

I bought this frame for an A2-sized poster (23.4 x 16.5 in).

With the frame having slightly larger dimensions (and the product description saying "Fits a 17x24 Photo/Print/Poster"), I believed the poster would fit. It did not. The frame itself looks nice, but now I have no use for it.

I expected a bttwr quality frame, the pictures on the site are great but ...... the product does not look like. The backing of the frame could have a better more rigid material than a simple brown cardboard. If the frame is not to be used with a fancy poster, it should work well.

Sauder Harbor View Storage Cabinet, Antiqued White

I got this in THREE days. I love it. It is a sturdy piece of furniture. I bought it for my craft room to store fabrics and quilts in. It took my husband about two hours to put it together. What slowed him down was the BACK piece does have a TOP and BOTTOM direction to it which was not stated in the directions. The back panel is very thin but other than that I have NO complaints. I will buy two prettier knobs for it but I am VERY pleased with this purchase. It is a lot roomer than I expect which is always a plus!!

Update: I just ordered a second one since I needed even more storage. "Wayfair" has FREE shipping and the service is wonderful!!

I really like this storage cabinet. It looks good and was very easy to put together. It was also much more inexpensive than purchasing a previously assembled unit of this size, and then paying for delivery (I don't have a truck and you would need one to deliver a cabinet this large). The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that the center divider and top shelf is necessary to hold the unit together. I really just wanted storage space, and did not plan on installing the shelving. I can still fit my vacuum and electric broom, but I had to carve out notches in the upper shelf so the handles would fit. We happen to have an electric saw so it was no big deal, but if you are expecting to utilize the entire interior without the shelving, this is probably not the best choice.

I ordered this mobile to hang over my daughter's changing table. When it arrived, the dragonflies were much bigger than I thought they were. (I didn't really review the product details before ordering. I just went by the pictures but realize now that none of them really had other objects next to the mobile to give it some scale.)

But I hung it anyway and now really love it. I was worried that being so big it would draw too much focus to that part of the room but they're so light and airy they add a nice touch without dominating the changing station. And my daughter loves staring up at them.

Glad I got them and glad they were bigger than I expected.

SEI Claremont Media Console with Electric Fireplace

Just finished putting it together and giving her a test run. Good to great quality. Looks great, easy assembly. They say "glass remains cool to the touch" which is 100% accurate and why we purchased for our living room thinking we wouldn't have to worry about our 14 month old burning himself. HOWEVER, what they don't tell you (until you get it and see the big warning sticker) is that the grid directly above the glass and exposed to everyone gets VERY VERY HOT. NOT good for kids or even animals. That being said, we really like it and still think it is a great value.

This corner unit fireplace takes some time to put together. I would say at least 1 hour. The firebox had an issue when first plugged in, the heater blower sounded like a sneaker in dryer (clunk, clunk). We took off the back panel and discovered that through shipping a metal plate had fallen onto a rotating piece. We pushed it back into place and the unit is working just fine. It looks real nice holding a flat screen tv and the cable components and dvd player fit perfectly. Yes, I would recommend it.

This was my 1st time ordering thru Amazon and my experience was rewarding. I was a little worried about ordering something on line without actually seeing it, pictures don't always give the proper representation of the product that is displayed. With that said, I am very pleased with the Electric fireplace that I recieved, it came in two boxes (one being the wooden console and the other the fireplace insert)and the UPS agent brought right into the house for me.

Now a couple of hints that will make the assembly easier: When you open the box, have a vacumm cleaner near by to remove the styrofoam from the items, due to static, the styrofoam is difficult to remove from the wood, but the vacumm will make cleanup easier as you remove from the packing. Inventory your parts and check off the paper as you locate them and then spread them out for easy recognition. Before you start assembling, spread a blanket on the floor to eliminate potential scratching, then follow the step by step instructions and take your time. Took approx 2.5 hours to assemble, this included removing stickers after the items were assembled (leave stickers on until assembled), the cam locks require a #2 phillips screwdriver, but I suggest using a #2 flat screwdriver to get the cams tight, then go back with the phillips to break the edges of the slots, this will allow the cover caps to be inserted into the cam. I utilized the corner shelf on the back of the console, so it would fit in the corner of the room and it is mounted on hinges, so if you want to eventually put it on a wall the shelf will just fold down.

The heater insert comes with a remote control that allows you to adjust the lights in the logs and also adjust the intensity of the flames. The remote will also turn the heat on / off as you need, there is a temperture switch located in a hidden panel that will allow you to set the heat and will shut off automatically once the temperture is reached. Very pleased with the realistic look of the logs / flame and also the adjustable shelfs that are located on each side of the console behind glass doors.

Downside: The media shelf is only 13" deep, did not allow my cable box to fully sit on the shelf without overhanging in the front, but by eliminating the back plate on the console, this was easily rectified.

Overall for the money, this was a great addition to my living room and the 55"flat screen looks great sitting on top.

Product arrived in record quick time 4 days. Came in two huge boxes and was very well packed each piece is numbered and tells whether it is left or right, and all the screws, bolts etc. have letters for ease of finding. In all everything was great except one panel had been damaged in transit. This is the type of product that once it is removed from the box it would be virtually impossible to re-pack. I phoned the manufacturer, as told to do on the information provided and there were very helpful and said they would get the replacement to me but it would take a week. I pointed out that the product was all unpacked I had no way of re-packing it and therefore I was not about to wait a week for the replacement and asked them to overnight it. They said they are unable to do this unless Amazon agreed. I then spoke to Amazon who said they could not speak to the manufacturer but could overnight a whole new unit to me I could take out the piece I needed and they would then arrange a pickup of the rest. I pointed out the absurdity of this as the shipping costs would be huge and I would have to store the item until it could be picked up. Eventually the customer service rep at Amazon came back to me and said she could speak to the manufacturer and we then went on a three way call. Long story short the replacement piece arrived by 9 am the next morning well done Amazon great customer service bad job Southern Enterprises terrible customer service I think they should have overnighted the damaged part of their product without all the trouble I had to go to. Although their product is very good and there were other pieces I was interested in I would not buy from this manufacturer again.

This stand is not only beautiful, well constructed, easy to assemble~ but it has a wonderful space heater with great advantages to it,like it shuts itself off when it reaches the appropriate temperature. The sides hold lots of your favorite movies. I love the fact that the back has that folding triangle which fits it right up to the corner of your wall if you're using it in a corner and it folds down if you're using the stand on a flat wall. It's so versatile and I recommend this TV stand highly. I have it in black and the finish is impecable. It does come in other finishes so make sure to surf around to get the color you need. I will say that this would have been two stars, but for the price point I'm pleased enough. First off, the instructions weren't that great. Some of the pieces weren't labeled in the manual which slowed me down. You are able to work past that and it is possible to put this together on your own (though I did have "help" from my 5 yr old). Quality was good enough for the price I paid. I love the fact that it has the two sliding doors! Overall this headboard looks great in my sons room and he loves to stash little things on the shelves. Two biggest complaints are that the brackets to attach the headboard to the bed were horrible. They didn't line up with bed at all and we had to add wood to the inside and adhere it to the extra piece. If we had the time, I would have preferred just to go to the hardware store and buy bigger brackets. And the shelves are not tall enough to fit regular sized books on the shelves. Not even my sons Magic Tree house books can sit upright. :( we have to stack them on their sides. Bummer!

Platin Art Peel n'Stick Prints Wall Decals, Manhattan

Purchased these to go along with a Statue of Liberty decal we had bought from another store leading to my basement towards my kids game room (see uploaded picture). The only thing I can say is that they aren't really vinyl and feels more like paper but they do stick and have not drooped or started peeling from our walls. Our walls are textured dry wall btw and all that was required that it be clean not greasy. If you can find a good frame for these then they can be framed and may actually look better framed but I didn't want to put any holes in my walls.

One other tip about making them stay up better according to the manufacturer is using your blow dryer on them while they're on the walls and that supposedly makes the adhesive stick better. I haven't tried this trick but if they start peeling then I'll use that trick and try and see if that will do the trick.

All in all I love the art work and the price is also very reasonable.

These decals went on great, looked nice, and did not bubble. However when it came time to take them off when I was moving from my apartment, it was a disaster. They stripped off the paint and tore, making it impossible to remove, let alone reuse. My wall & paint were both standard, nothing out of the ordinary. I do NOT recommend these, as I will now have to lose some of my security deposit to repair the damage.

These went nicely in my laundry room, the packaging is very nice and the resolution of the images is also good. I was not too happy with the adhesive though, the instructions say to use a hairdryer to heat of the adhesive, but all i need is for them to melt or become permanent.

I got these for my first apartment and they looked great... at first. Followed all the instructions of wiping the walls down, drying them, etc. but after about 5-6 months they started to peel at the edges and now they don't stay on the wall at all, so I've resorted to taping the edges down until I can find a replacement I like. Decent for the price but I wouldn't recommend them for longevity.
